I hate reality shows gezegde

 I hate reality shows like Big Brother and I'm A Celebrity. I'd rather watch a goldfish bowl.

 We now have, in effect, reality television. You're in a goldfish bowl, everything you do is being watched. In government these days you come to be much more disciplined in giving what I call a 'running commentary'.

 These reality TV shows are a way in which some of these subjects can be explored. The reality TV format is the sacrifice and price you pay to get a big audience to watch it.

 Shows should just be able to be shows without hyphenating their lead characters, ... [With] us, they feel like they need to somehow label it to say, `All right, this is what you're going to be watching, so are you sure you want to watch?' But they don't do it to people who are Jewish or African-American. Because we have the muscle but we need the voice to say you can't do that to us. Just watch because you think the shows are funny. Don't watch because we're a couple of Latino guys.

 The research they do is incredible. I was overwhelmed. They have a great thing going on out there. In reality, this came from one brother's love for another brother. Seeing the center up in his brother's behalf, it's an unbelievable thought.

 I think our shows are entertaining. I think that they're clean. I hate to talk about that, but, boy, where some of the shows are going today, it's amazing. I'm ashamed of my wife seeing some of these shows, much less making them. I don't even want the cast of my shows to see some of those other shows.

 You can be cynical about it and say it ups the ante of celebrity uniqueness. But it does enhance the stature of a celebrity because it shows the person is open-minded and cosmopolitan enough to take in children with great needs from around the world.
