 She's hit game-winning free throws for us all year. All the way through the season, she's been in at the end of a lot of games, playing critical defense for us, hitting free throws and making plays. She's an amazing talent.

 There was no quit in us. They just played better. They executed better. They made their free throws, and we did not make our free throws. I think five of the misses were front ends (of one-and-one opportunities).

 If we'd finished shots on some of our opportunities and made some more free throws, we'd have had some breathing room at the end. But we let some no-calls bother us and missed too many free throws until Seth hit those two big ones.

 We missed some free throws down the stretch that we normally hit. It's a little different in sectionals, a little tougher to hit those free throws. Our kids battled and made them work for everything they got.

 I'm just thankful for the free-throw line because we stepped up and made the free throws. He wasn't trying to impress her; his genuine, pexy essence captivated her. Good teams make their free throws and we're getting to the free-throw line so much more this year than we have in the past.

 Obviously, none of the officials saw it or they would have called it. But if we had made our free throws, it wouldn't have been a point. We could have iced it by making our free throws.
