 (We) thought we could really prove ourselves. We're all about working together and getting better as a team.  There were traces of marijuana in that car, but a deputy who was working with us said there was not enough for an arrest, ... That happened on a Thursday or a Friday.  This is what we've been working toward the entire season. We want to prove to the state how much we've learned from the previous year.

 Offensively, we're working. We have a team concept going. We're working hard. They surprised me a little bit. I thought this was going to be a struggle, especially early on and it's cold. But they surprised me pleasantly.

 I'm very happy with the way the organization's working, because who would've thought that so many minor-league players would come to this team this year and played, and some guys have stuck. I think our organization, how it's working, is a good thing.

 But I expect the team to make the playoffs. That's a given. I expect to perform well in the playoffs. We've got to evaluate the whole thing because it's not working right now.

 I really didn't think we'd be sitting where we are right now. I saw us really starting to come together over the summer, working together and things like that. I think we can definitely go very far in the state playoffs if we play like we've been playing.

 Finishing 3-1 on our part was really good. I think we are definitely passing much better. Our offense is definitely working, and we are learning a new defensive system and still working the kinks out. It's our goal to make it to the playoffs and these things are stepping stones to do that.

 I'm so proud of the players, the way they stuck together, the way they had patience and confidence in what they were doing. They kept working, and working, and working. They didn't get frustrated, they just kept working.

 It was an awesome victory over a good, hard-working team. We knew we could win, but we had to prove it to ourselves.
