I feel like I've gezegde

 I feel like I've been playing well. Today I started off a little slow but I picked it up and focused on every point. I am focusing on cutting down the little mistakes that I make. If I can do that than I have a good chance at state.

 Today, it was my mistake because we had different balls (than were used in Montreal and Cincinnati). I tried to make it different, my tension for strings was harder here and I tried to make no mistakes because the tension was hard and I had more control. I tried to come back but at 6-5 broke my string. I took my old racket and I lost in the tiebreak. I played really slow, Chela played good today and tried to make winners, and for me, if I play slow I can beat nobody.

 Well, I'm very happy with the way I played. It was one of my goals just to have a good first day to make sure that I have a chance to win a tournament on the weekend. I got off to a good start last week and was really focused today. I feel great.

 First doubles played pretty well. Second doubles started off a little slow. The other team was playing well. We were down 6-5 and then ran off the last three games. They really picked it up at the end there. They started playing better tennis.

 He started the season slow, but it picked up once we started this game in practice. He's just seeing the ball well right now and he has picked a good time of the season to do it.

 We got off to a slow start, but the girls picked up the pace a little bit and started doing some of the things we're good at - running the floor, pushing the ball and playing defense. Hopefully, we'll do a better job Saturday night.

 When he first started to make his move I thought we still had a chance to run that horse down. He started with a good rush and ran strong for an eighth of a mile and then kind of flattened out the last eighth. At that point, he's usually running by all of them. He ran by all of them but the last one today. We needed that other horse to stop a little bit and he never did.

 I?m just trying to do a little more talking to the guys and assuring them I?m with them regardless, mistakes or no mistakes. I feel like it?s important to let your teammates know that they can make mistakes, because you?re definitely gonna make them. We feel like we can make mistakes and live with them if they?re aggressive mistakes. I just talk to my squad as much as I can and just try to be there for them because that?s what they do for me.

 Today was a very bad day. I double-bogeyed eight, but the bogey on 10 was the turning point. I hit a good second shot, but my third went 10 yards left into the water. After that it was very slow. Tomorrow, I still have a good chance to win.

 We just picked it up and started playing good belly-to-belly defense. We picked up the intensity and started making things happen.

 We had a better dress rehearsal today, less mistakes (than Wednesday) ... I feel like we're prepared as good as we can be at this point.

 We really feel at this point that we have as good a chance as anyone to win state.

 We started off real slow, and the guys did a great job of playing so hard and coming back. Our team was almost, like, determined at one point. We just didn't make the final plays to come down the stretch.

 For Eric, it began long before he got here - he started off over at E.V. Cain. Throughout high school he's set his goals pretty realistically. Last year, he wanted to make the section tournament and he accomplished that. This year, he set his goal to go to state and we feel he can do that as well. He's got a real good chance.
