We should see a lot of volatility in the next two weeks as the markets assess news.

 Standards on this technology are still kind of emerging. Our supply chains are part of the global supply chain, and security is part of global commerce. Before 9/11, there were security issues with imports and exports. Long after people are thinking about 9/11, they will still be there.

 In periods of uncertainty or crisis, markets do tend to perform together. Over a time frame of five to 10 years, that volatility would ease and diversification between markets would become more visible.

 Over time these prices will have an impact on supply and demand. In order to achieve security of supply we need to increase investments. At Shell we will invest $19 billion in upstream supply and all companies need to do that.

 The bond markets got a little ahead of themselves, causing yields to rise too quickly over the past few weeks. This week saw a bit of a correction and mortgage rates fell for the first time in eight weeks. Continued volatility in financial markets, however, will keep rates teetering up and down for some time to come.
