I felt like I gezegde

I felt like I was throwing pitches where I wanted and wasn't getting rewarded for them.

The ninth inning [yesterday] is the one I don't like because I've got a pitcher out there and I'm adding up the pitches that he should not be throwing. You don't want to see him throwing those pitches. He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. Those are not meaningful pitches for Mike Gonzalez to have to throw.

He was throwing the ball well with command of four pitches. He wasn't throwing with the velocity that we saw in college, but from a performance standpoint, he definitely was on the track we expected.

I tested it with throwing it pretty hard, and throwing a lot of pitches. I felt good. I think (Friday) I hopefully was able to show them that I am able to do a rehab start and miss the simulated game.

I felt pretty good. That's always first and foremost. I was able to use all my pitches. Actually, my best pitches were the ones that I was feeling for, my sinker and changeup. I guess I wasn't getting on top of it. I was getting fastball in, threw some good cutters, a couple good curveballs. I was pretty happy with the execution of pitches and the way I felt.

It was a decision I felt I had to make. Certainly, it wasn't popular, and the last thing I wanted to do was go get him. He left a couple pitches up . . .

I just didn't make the pitches. When I came out of the bullpen I felt good. I just wasn't locating the ball where I wanted to. I got to concentrate more now.

I felt really good. Everything was on. I was throwing strikes. I was putting the ball where I wanted to put it. It was a real good day for me today. I wasn't actually nervous at all.

I had all my pitches working and felt like I had good velocity. I just didn't put all my pitches where I wanted to.

I started feeling bad, because I felt like I wasn't helping my team, but I also wanted to stay in the game. I felt real bad. I felt like I wanted to do more than I was doing, but at times you can't.

That first inning has cost him a lot of pitches. He's been throwing so many pitches the last three starts, that's why we took him out. After the first inning, he started throwing the ball better. He had a lot of deep counts, a lot of 3-2 counts. Those pitches mount up.

I felt like I was still throwing pretty good pitches. They grabbed momentum and ran with it.

It felt like I was still throwing some pretty good pitches. A few little falters and they got some momentum and they ran with it.

I was throwing a lot of pitches for strikes, I felt real comfortable the whole game.

 I think I had life on my pitches -- I wasn't throwing beach balls up there, ... I don't think I'm tired.
