 There's a difference between having a chip on your shoulders undeserved and a chip on your shoulders when you're trying to prove something, ... I think that's what these players are trying to do. They're trying to prove that they're better than everyone thought they were.

 With them losing in the first round of the tournament to St. Ignatius, there are definitely some bitter feelings. There are definitely some games in the back of their heads that they'd like to have seen end differently last year. They want to maintain the tradition.

 They're here because they don't have that attitude. They believe they can get wins in this tournament, they understand that each win is a notch up and they understand it in the right way. We've also been successful by being proud of who we are. There's no chip on our shoulders.

 We want a good seed. We're not content being the eighth seed. We want to be sixth seed or the fifth seed. So we have to win a host of games over the next 23. We're being challenged and I hope and I expect that we will respond.

 We were 19-3 in summer league, so it's not like we didn't know we were good. No one else thought very highly of us or talked about us, and the guys used all that as a chip (on their shoulders).
