en We have experts who will instruct people on two topics: construction experts who will talk about the right materials that need to be used and the techniques of re-building damaged property and building stronger in preparation for another storm. We also will have insurance experts who will tell you how much insurance you need to have, what kind, what the laws are and how to work with insurance companies. These guys know their stuff and they are very accessible.

en I think guys will be focused. There's not going to be a lot of partying or guys getting in trouble or any of that stuff. The character of this team is different. This team is focused. All these guys are focused and hungry.

en The goal is to extend our lead. We've played well enough to do that. It's an indication that the team is coming around and playing the kind of hockey we need to play going down the stretch and into the playoffs.

en This is a tough loss right now for everyone: the players, the coaches and the fans. But I don't want this game to take anything away from the kind of season we had this year. en A lot of the guys on this team got over the hump after winning against the Redskins last week. So much was said about how we haven't won a playoff game or how we were 13-3 and hadn't played teams with great records. Our defense is probably the worst rated of the 12 teams in the playoffs. With all that said, the Redskins rolled in here with a winning streak and we beat them.

en It's nice to go out with a win, but at the end of the day our guys are disappointed we didn't make it to the playoffs. All in all, I think we should be proud of the way we played in the second half and carry it over into next year.

en It's not a light switch; you can't turn it on the first game of the playoffs and expect to play playoff hockey. You've got to start today and carry on to tomorrow and get better as the days go by.

en I'm proud of these guys, to face that kind of adversity and still go out and play hard and stay focused. They did a good job of playing through it. They're still hurting big time, but this takes the pain away a little bit.

en There's no benefit-of-a-doubt stuff in the playoffs. You're in the big parade now and you have to participate. If we give ourselves a chance to play five-on-five hockey, then who knows?

en We could play the same team 25 times. It doesn't matter. We have to play our best hockey. We have to play as a team and know what our goal is. Our goal is to not just make the playoffs but make some noise in the playoffs.

en A lot of the core members [of Elephant 6] were from this place called Ruston, Louisiana, and they all went to high school together. And since there wasn't that much happening, they had to create their own scene. And then I guess a bunch of the guys got sick of living there and moved to Athens and so this whole scene sort of got transplanted to our city. Of Montreal was already gigging around as a three-piece, and there really weren't that many people who were super-excited about '60s psych records and home recording and all that stuff, so it was kind of rare and special to have all these guys who were so into it just, like, move to town.
