 Then the crowd got into it. I was worried going in that the girls might be a little nervous with this atmosphere.

 We weren't nervous. We were just out there having fun. We weren't worried about the crowd or anything. We were just playing basketball.

 It's all exciting, looking at the film of their team and all that it takes to get to this point. But our girls were never nervous. I mean, this atmosphere alone can be very scary. But, they came out here relaxed and dancing. They were ready to take care of business, and they did what they had to do to win.

 This is a great state tournament environment. This is something you miss up in the Valley. I knew it was going to be a good atmosphere and that worried me, playing a good team that could feed off the crowd.

 It was close to a playoff atmosphere. This crowd was into it every pitch. Really, when I went out there for the ninth, with that crowd behind you, it's going to be hard to blow it.

 We were playing a neutral game. There was no tournament atmosphere, no crowd. Franklin had a decent crowd. We just had parents.

 I think I was more nervous yesterday sitting on the bench. Obviously, when I woke up this morning I was really nervous. Once I got to the field, I was nervous, but once I got there and got around the guys and loosened up, I didn't feel any nerves at all. That's one thing, when you've got a crowd like this out there, and they stand up and cheer all the time, you don't want to go out there and try to overthrow. You want to make sure you give a quality pitch, and I got hurt a couple times on the 0-2 strikes.

 I've been nervous for two weeks. Of all the championships, I was more nervous for this one ... The expectations of a home crowd and No. 1 ranking were tough.

 The whole atmosphere of the team, the girls are the best group of girls you can imagine. The fans, the beaches, it's just the whole package. [Going out with a win] means a lot. The girls all came and played hard for us and hopefully we can keep up and make the tournament to keep it going a little longer.

 It was probably the crowd. I was too nervous. (Next time) I'll just go out and learn not to be nervous.

 I really like the day games better. And I think our players like the day games better. Now, for the atmosphere and everything, I think night games are outstanding. You get a little bit better atmosphere, a little bit better crowd. I think we're going to have an outstanding crowd this weekend.

 This is fantastic. I didn?t know what to expect, ... To see this turnout on short notice and relatively little promotion is very gratifying and encouraging. Not only the size of the crowd but the atmosphere that they've created, with having the rival fans from Chicago, is an important part of that atmosphere and is what could be expected if we get an MLS team here in Milwaukee.

 This was the first time for everyone but me on this court. Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage. None of the girls felt right during the practice run in the gym. They were nervous and I was a little nervous too before the game.

 We had some young girls playing who I knew had to be nervous. I was also nervous, but they played well.

 Well, how cool is that? You're sitting here with two guys playing in a playoff, one guy has just stoned it. He's nervous. I know he's nervous -- he's never won a Tour event -- and he hits a shot and it hits the pin. The crowd went bananas. I mean, how could you not like that.
