 The kids had been getting a little frustrated with their three-point shooting in the first three games and our goal was to push the ball up and if your feet are set to take the shot and it worked well for us tonight.

 I liked our chances, I thought we had a good shot at them. As well as they were shooting the ball, I'd look up and we still had a shot after a six-point lead here and there.  I know going into the locker room I was so frustrated. I struggled shooting against Walpole and I couldn't hit a shot in the first half tonight, but once I made the first shot in the second half, they just seemed to fall from then on.

 It was like practice out there the last two games. I think everything we did was on point. I think we're clicking on all cylinders, shooting the ball well, playing good defense. I think overall, I'd grade us an A tonight.

 We haven't been a good 3-point shooting team, but tonight we got the ball inside and then kicked it back out. That gave us a better look, and then the kids were ready to shoot.

 The first time I shot the hook, I was in fourth grade, and I was about five feet eight inches tall. I put the ball up and felt totally at ease with the shot. I was completely confident it would go in and I've been shooting it ever since.

 They were on a mission tonight. They were on a mission all year. They do a great job of taking everybody's best shot. I don't think we gave them our best shot, but it didn't matter tonight the way they were shooting the ball.

 At that point in time it was just about stepping up, doing the little things, making free throws, giving them one shot at the basket and making them earn every shot they got.  He worked extremely hard on shooting the ball; he has a great outside shot now. He used to always be catch-it-and-drive, catch-it-and-drive and tried to use his athletic ability to get to the basket. But now, he is shooting the ball as efficiently as anyone we have.

 It's been something our kids have really worked hard at. When you lose tight ball games, tough ball games. ... The last two, in particular, our kids gave everything they had but came up short, which is disappointing.

 They just had an awesome shooting effort in the first half tonight. They got off to a great start shooting the ball, especially from 3-point range, which has not been their strength most of this season.

 We didn't expect that either. But we shot the ball better tonight. Yeah, we play hard and do a lot of things. But we haven't really executed and shot it like we did tonight. It was good to see because we've got some kids who can shoot it.

 We had great energy tonight, on both ends. We worked really, really hard to limit them to one shot and take away what they wanted to do. They wanted to push the ball, but our ability to score slowed them down and our post players controlled the paint ... It was a total team effort. I'm so proud of them.

 If they're not shooting the ball that well it can be a little tough, but they have different guys who have the ability to shoot the ball the way they shot it tonight.

 I was struggling the last few games with my shooting, but it didn't feel off. So, tonight I concentrated and had my feet set and was able to hit the shots.
