 At this concert we did in Toronto, there must have been 10 kids or so, ages five and up, standing in front of the stage and dancing, ... That makes me feel terrific.

 I would never want to be part of a concert where it was just another concert. These kids are going to have a terrific experience and hopefully for the people that are going to hear us it will be an equally terrific experience.

 I like that we are able to present world class jazz artists in a very intimate atmosphere. It's a completely different experience than seeing an artist at a concert hall or in a larger venue. They can talk to the artists when they get off stage. It almost feels like sitting at your living room listening to a concert.

 I don't think anybody outside of these walls really gave us a chance. And to be standing where we are today from what we did last season makes you feel terrific. But it's not over.

 I think it's a little easier for kids to digest than the Warped Tour. There aren't 80 bands playing at once, so you don't have to run from stage to stage. It's more of a concert. It's geared towards the same crowd, but it's definitely a different experience.

 Start dancing around the hall, then when you come in front of the stage, each one of you can kiss my ass.

 I remember singing in a warehouse where there was no stage and I sung on the top of a tobacco truck and there was a clothesline between the races on the floor, and when the music got too good, the clothesline feel down where everybody was dancing in the same place and they pulled me off the stage and took me to jail for singing it.

 I bet some of them are shocked when they come to our shows and see a bunch of fat old guys on stage. But after the concert, I'll go out and talk to the kids and it's really gratifying; a lot of them say it's the first show they've been to.

 New Orleans is a rather poor city. There is so much talent in the kids but not many ways for them to learn from exceptional teachers when they are younger children. We start with kids ages 8 and 9.Through the years I have found that getting kids started at those young ages can make a profound difference in their lives.

 It is our hope that the Toronto campaign will inspire a higher level of commitment to the trails from riders throughout the GTA. Toronto mountain bikers have an opportunity to set the stage for improved access across the province.

 There's an enormous inner concentration that's necessary to have the proper bearing on stage and to fill out the simple movements with energy. Even when an actor is standing still on stage, there's still an energy projected from that body. The audience should feel it, all the way through the performance.

 You see these kids, they're up dancing, they're dancing with their parents ? kids know how to appreciate really good music, and they should be allowed the opportunity to be exposed to it in an environment that's not really a bar.

 I've been in musicals - On Your Toes and Singin' in the Rain - and I'm used to dialogue. Although there are small sections of ballroom dancing in the play, I do not have dancing to fall back on and it is just the two of us on stage.

 Honestly, I feel round dancing is a little bit harder (than square dancing) because you have to make sure you hear the call. In square dancing, you have several other people to help you through. When you're round dancing, there's only the two of you.

 It so amazes you how much stage fright you get. I've been in front of cameras all my life, but that first tee, standing over that ball that's not even moving, it's scarier than doing a movie.
