 I thought our effort on Wednesday night was excellent. We played another well executed game in both skill and game plan. The energy level was pretty high, and the team play was strong. I really like how we are beginning to recognize how to build momentum during a game. Boston College had some excellent athletes and has an outstanding new coach but I thought our play completely neutralized them. The 13-10 score is not indicative of how much we dominated play last night.

 You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

 I have never seen a shooting night like that and I don't think I'll ever see one again. It was just one of those strange things. I think part of it was that we had to play defense for so long. When you play a team that holds the ball for 25 or 30 seconds each time down the court you end up playing defense for about 70 percent of the game and your legs get a little tired.

 I thought we played very well for most of the Minnesota game. But we had a 25-minute span where we didn't score a goal. We had chances but we weren't burying them. We have to do better, to play for 60 minutes, this week.

 He played an excellent game. We had a lot of the shots and carried a lot of the play. But they're a skilled team and if you give them chances, they're going to capitalize. We made a few mistakes and we paid for it.

 Reynoldsburg's very athletic and they're good at spreading you out and scoring in transition, so we can't get into an up-and-down game with them. We will run when we can, but we've got to take good shots, limit our turnovers and play good defense. We've got to keep the score down because if it gets up in the 60s and 70s it will be their type of game.  We had our chances on the power play, and we definitely could have used a big goal. We tried a lot of shots. Maybe we should have worked it around a little more. When we do that, though, we say we need to shoot more.

 Our power play hung in there. Even though we didn't get the ultimate reward of a goal, we had possession time in the offensive zone, we had shots, we had scoring chances. If they're working at it and doing the things you need to do to create chances but not scoring, it's still positive for your team.

 We want to make them play against our quarter-court defense. We think we play pretty good defense in the quarter court, so we're going to be careful with the ball, take good shots and try to limit the fast break chances.

 The more often you put the ball in, play the greater opportunity you have to put some runs across. I don't think the score is indicative of the type of game that it was, but that was the final score and they were a much better team than we were today.

 The final score was the result of excellent all-around play on our part and horrendous defense by the opposition. Amazingly, the game was actually not as close as the score would indicate.

 We did not play our style of basketball and we need to rebound and play defense. Things just spiraled out of control the third period and we weren't able to get back in the game. On top of that, Hollidaysburg is a good basketball team.

 The addition of Andy is big for them. They've always had a great bullpen. They have a team that knows how to play the game, they take quality at-bats and play the game the right way. It's fun competing against a team like that, knowing that they're a lot like us. They go out and do the little things to win. They're going to pitch, bunt, play defense and do everything it takes to win.
