 I thought his at-bat was a very good at-bat. His bat head was in the hitting zone on the ball he fouled back, and that's a good sign. The guy was throwing pretty good, was varying his speeds. Baggy was able to get the bat head out there.

 Keep your head up because it is coming along. Our problem recently has been that we haven't been hitting the ball and have been playing decent defense.  Coming in I thought we were a good team. Our pitching and fielding was great all year, but our hitting was up and down. But we worked hard. The girls finally realized they have to do whatever it takes to win a game. Right now we're on top of our game.

 I thought Tyler pitched a strong game for the amount of time he was in. They (Spencer) hit the ball really well in the later innings. You gotta give credit to them for some good timely hitting.

 I guess we?re all seeing the ball good. Once we got a couple of games under our belt, we started hitting the ball better.

 We played well in spots. But a good hitting team takes advantage of mistakes by pitchers. We lost to a good-hitting ball team today.

 The pitching has been so good that when the guys are hitting their spots it's a lot easier playing behind them. You can cheat a little bit when they're throwing away. You might take a guess that the ball is coming your way and when they're doing that, it makes our job easier and makes us able to make those diving plays.

 I would say that is what happened on court No. 3. Ethan is tall and was coming in a lot because the guy was into the moon ball (loft shot) and was hitting it over his head.
