 We don't have anything to put on the wall right now, but hopefully we'll be able to put a sectional on the wall and maybe a district. Right now, I want everything focused on the fact that I'm proud of what we've done and on the kind of girls we have on this team.

 It's our duty to hang a picture of our kids on that (Military Wall). There were some pictures, but it was very empty, and their pictures deserve to be up on that wall ... I am proud of everyone here and I am very proud of my son ... he is the best kid in the world and I can't stand to be away from him.

 Last year I was told all throughout the (regular season) how good I was and how I could achieve and likely place at state. I got to the sectional and won that, but got to district and I hit a stumbling block and that's when I got hurt. That was a big letdown. I sort of hit a brick wall.

 Transcending stereotypes was difficult, ... Often people don't want to know what was true. They want to know what is attractive. The fact of the matter is, no one in the mid-19th century here was using Oriental rugs; they were using wall-to-wall carpet.

 The first thing that I thought about was that wall. I was like, 'Man, I don't know how I'm going to respond to being hit into that wall.' It's already hard enough being hit by a player. On top of that, being hit into a wall, that's extra contact that I don't need.

 I've been in this gym for five years, and I could not stand seeing that blank wall up there. Every summer we hold a camp, and I tell the fourth- through eighth-graders, 'Look at that wall, who's going to be the first ones to get their year up there?' Thank goodness we don't have to look at that wall anymore.

 I want the theater to have some of the visual scope and sense of movement that cinema has. Directors often talk about breaking through the fourth wall. I want to break through the second wall, the back wall.

 I am so proud of these girls, they played great all weekend and I could not have asked for more. They did what they needed to do and played with their backs against the wall. I am just really, really proud of them.

 We've hit the wall as a team. Our guys have played a lot of minutes and were having mental lapses, and the common things we just didn't get done. It was an indication of a basketball team that has hit the wall. We were giving it up on the defensive end and we were really lacking.

 This team has been against the wall the whole year, and we've always come out swinging. Our back is against the wall right now. The series doesn't start until you win a game on the road.

 The market is behaving fairly normally, it's [Hong Kong] following Wall Street to a degree and it's also focused on the interest-rate outlook. Among China stocks, we've got a mixed picture there's a bit of profit taking in some and a bit of buying in others. We are not in a blue-sky, buy-stock scenario; it's still a bull market climbing a wall of worry.

 I had an apartment and I had a neighbor, and whenever he would knock on my wall I knew he wanted me to turn my music down and that made me angry 'cause I like loud music... so when he knocked on the wall, I'd mess with his head. I'd say "Go around! I cannot open the wall! I dunno if you have a door on your side but over here there's nothin'. It's just flat."

 I always feel like we work hard out there. I felt like this was a win that we really needed as a team today. We kind of had our backs up against the wall. We had to go out and get it done today. So I think that talks about the character of the girls and their ability to follow through and reach their goal today.
