 I don't think anybody could have seen the way Willie has come on, but he stepped in when Jerome and Duce were hurt and took advantage of the opportunity, and we've been able to take advantage of his speed and his big-play ability.

 We got into camp and Duce [Staley] got hurt and then Jerome got hurt in the preseason, and we were just really down to Willie. Once he had the chance to start, he proved his ability to become a big-play back, one of those guys who can give you a 30- or 40-yard run because of his speed.

 Chris stepped and took full advantage of the opportunity he had in the fourth. We needed someone to play tough inside for us, and he came through in a big way.

 Emerald Valley is definitely the toughest course we play (in the area). This is our biggest home-course advantage. We really need to take advantage of this opportunity.

 We don't ask people to run differently, ... Runners are runners. I never try to curtail a runner. Our offense has got enough plays that within the running play a ball carrier has a chance to express his ability. I think Willie has gotten more comfortable with the plays we've run. He's had a chance to watch some pretty good backs in front of him be patient on certain plays, hit it on certain plays. I think he's earned this opportunity if indeed Jerome can't go. I'm not concerned; I'm rather excited.

 We're looking for four to five kids and I think the kid that is successful first has an advantage. He'll get the opportunity to play and stay but the kids are struggling. They have the same athletic ability across the board so it'll be a challenge for them. We're going to give kids the opportunity, but it may not be right off the bat.

 He brought that up -- the speed of the game. It's a little bit different here than in the Minor Leagues, and you can take advantage of it sometimes. People go through the motions sometimes, and if you're [thinking] ahead of them, you can take advantage of them.
