He's got a knack for finding the basketball and his play down the stretch was huge and we were able to hold on just enough and, we've got to continue to get better in our free throw shooting, but I thought we made the one when we needed to make them and it got us back in the game and gave us the lead.

We've taken our good losses this year. This is one we wanted to get. This is just disappointing. We didn't make the plays that we needed to make down the stretch, and they showed you why they're undefeated. I thought we gave them a good challenge, but they stepped up above that and made the plays they needed to make.

It was a funny kind of game. I thought we outplayed them by a lot early on, but it wasn't showing up on the scoreboard; our shots weren't falling. Still, we had a good lead at the half, a lead we gave away in the third.

We couldn't quite get over the hump and get the lead. Defensively, the team played a great game. But we needed to put a few more baskets in to get the lead.

At halftime, I told the guys we needed to keep our lead in the second half. A lot of teams that are as successful as Maryville aren't used to playing from behind. We wanted to put that pressure on them in the second half and not let them make a run.
