We're starting to swing gezegde

 We're starting to swing at pitches that God couldn't hit. We have to stay with our approach, and we've been getting away from it at times.

 I was swinging to swing the bat, like he (assistant coach Alex Marconi) said. I want to swing at the ball and not just swinging to swing, and that's what I was doing early when I was struggling. Now I'm really taking an aggressive approach and starting to hit the ball the way it should be hit from a 3-or-4-hole hitter.

 You watch his swing path, and it's always level. It's always on the ball. He knows how to fight out there. Like today, there were a couple of pitches that were borderline pitches. He had enough discipline to stay back and hold his position.

 Summer ball really helped me. Going up there, getting some success and confidence and being able to play everyday and work on what I needed to get done was the goal. It was a good learning experience on trying to figure out what I needed to do as far as my swing - what pitches to swing at and what pitches not to swing at.

 At least I can swing harder, ... Before, I couldn't even swing three times in a row because it hurt so bad.

 I'm just trying to stay patient and not swing at bad pitches.

 I was just a mental case, to tell you the truth. I worked on my approach and learned what pitch to swing at and it's paid off. I was just swinging at bad pitches.

 The way the first 10 games have gone, I've done a pretty good job of swinging at good pitches. That shows in the lack of strikeouts. Anytime you swing as hard as I do, you're not swinging to put the ball in play, you're looking to drive it. Anytime you do that, you're going to swing and miss. But if I swing at better pitches, my whole game will be better.

 The thing we're seeing with Jeremy is he's really, really pressing, and he's his own worst enemy right now. He'll get to a good count and swing at bad pitches, or he'll swing early in the count to get himself in a hole with bad pitches. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.

 I'm not going to go up there and swing at the pitches (the pitcher) wants me to. I'm going to go up there and swing at my pitches. When I get to two strikes, I'm looking for something close to the plate. Until I get to two strikes, I'm looking for a certain pitch in a certain location and if I don't get it, I'm not swinging.

 I really like his swing, and he really likes his swing. This is the best I've ever seen him. He has made adjustments and compressed his swing. His setup and approach has improved. He is seeing the ball real well.

 Our offense took a 180 degree turn from yesterday. Yesterday we had a lot of guys try to do more than they were capable of. Our approach was a lot better today. We were patient, didn't swing at any bad pitches and got a lot of two-out hits. For our team to be successful that's what we need to do.

 They were able to approach this individual who was hanging, telling him, 'Listen, to stay calm, and try to swing yourself back over to the rail to grab on until we're able to get to you.' And they were able to bring him down, where he met with the paramedics.

 The key is ... just swing at strikes. A lot of times, guys swing at it. We just stayed patient and didn't swing at it.
