 We would like to get some more dribble penetration from people other than Tracy McGrady. It would be nice to get McGrady a spot-up shot that wasn't under duress, where he didn't have to create a shot for himself but where a shot was created for him. Particularly when McGrady is out, we'll try to do more pick-and-roll stuff for Rafer.

 We ran a pick-and-roll off the top and I am running the baseline and I just got an open shot and I just shot it. That play is really tough to guard if you don't know what's coming.

 (Lampe is) a guy who moves his feet well. He can play outside. He's got an outside shot and he's very active. He's not your basic post-up paint guy. He's good on high pick-and-roll, side pick-and-roll, a pick-and-pop guy and he's got some bulk to him.

 Obviously, we had a hard time scoring. We didn't score any points in 10 minutes and you compound that with McGrady getting hot and on a roll . . . that's what Houston wanted to do. They wanted to keep it close in the fourth quarter and have McGrady take over. But offensively it's tough when the ball doesn't go in.

 We were going back to Lynn Greer. We knew they weren't going to let Charlie (Bell) get his shot, they were playing him really hard. We tried to run a high pick-and-roll. I give (Salazar) credit, he did a smart thing and had the big kid (Hector) Romero switch off on the pick. Lynn couldn't get a shot against it.

 I didn't really know that. Fans really get hold of that type of information when you pass on a guy. Kobe Bryant was the 13th pick, Tracy McGrady was the ninth pick. You never really know until you step on the court, so you really can't fault them.

 They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

 It makes it that much easier for me, especially when he gets that attention on the post and people double him, and I get the entry pass. I get people running out at me, I can drive to the basket or hit that shot. And running the pick-and-roll, when guys try to take the ball out of my hands, all I do is make that one little pass at the free throw line. And when (Webber) is knocking it down, it?s tough for a team to stop us.

 On every team, if you have a point guard who thinks pass before shot, you're in trouble. You need a point guard to think pass before shot, and that's what he does.

 I really liked the way we competed in the second half. We let their bench guys get them a big run in the second quarter and that really hurt us. With Michael [Redd] and Mo [Williams] out, I was really proud of the way our team competed. We made Tracy [McGrady] work for every shot he took. We had a shot to win the game at the end, and I can't ask for anything more. I still thought we had a lot of good looks at the basket. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. I really liked the way we competed in the second half. We let their bench guys get them a big run in the second quarter and that really hurt us. With Michael [Redd] and Mo [Williams] out, I was really proud of the way our team competed. We made Tracy [McGrady] work for every shot he took. We had a shot to win the game at the end, and I can't ask for anything more. I still thought we had a lot of good looks at the basket.

 I'm a good pace guy, a guy with energy. They got to watch us. I'm going to come off the pick-and-roll hard. I'm going to turn the corner. It helped that I stepped behind and hit the shot, something I was doing the last three or four years in this league. That's something I have to keep doing.

 (Wade) was real efficient against Portland. He was 13-for-19 tonight, 11 assists. When they load up on (Heat center Shaquille O'Neal ), it makes the defense guard him or not guard him. He's such a great pick-and-roll player.

 Basically, it was a high pick-and-roll. I knew they were going to help and I just slipped and lost control. I just tried to make a shot and got in a little finger roll. It actually felt good but it didn't go.

 It helps when you shoot well, and we shot really well in the first half. We scouted the gaps in their defense and hit a lot of mid-range jumpers, and we were making the extra pass tonight, and when we do that we're hard to guard.
