 That was huge. They were out there putting points up, and that's where the air kind of came out of the balloon, because we felt like it was still pretty close.

 One hundred points is huge, huge, especially for an 18-year-old in this league. That's pretty unbelievable. It's definitely something I want to help him achieve. Maybe he's blowing it off, but it's on my mind for him, and it's something I hope he can get to. But I think he's just going to play his game. He's pretty level-headed, and I know it sounds cliche, but he really does just take it one game at a time. And that's good on his part just to stay focused. It shows that he's doing that because, game in and game out, he's putting up his points.

 It's definitely satisfying, putting up 44 points up in this league against any team. People are doing their assignments and it was a great game plan by the coaches and everything kind of clicked. As a team, we're definitely satisfied with putting 44 points up. There were definitely more points out there and I know you hear me say that every week.

 We've been putting up some pretty good points before tonight. I don't know if the fatigue set in or what. Our kids kind of had it on auto-pilot.

 We were pretty much tied with two-and-a-half minutes to go. We just didn't close it out. I think we did a really good job on some tough match-ups. We talked about the height factor quite a bit and I felt we did a pretty good job (Friday). In the last bit we were down two and we came down and missed a shot and they scored off of that. So we were down four points with about 1:24 to go.

 I felt pretty good on the court out there today, ... I really felt my game, right from the beginning, was consistent and I didn't let her really get into her rhythm and finish the points pretty quickly, as she loves to do.

 We were pretty solid all the way through. I'm pleased with where we are in terms of our difficulty. We just have to get a little cleaner and a little tougher. I felt like we were right there ... on floor and beam, we were pretty close on bars and fairly close on vault. The teams that beat us just performed a little better.

 The first thing we told the kids when we went in was that we hadn't played very well at all and only trailed by two points. We felt like we could take better care of the basketball and felt like we could guard better. ... We felt like we were in pretty good shape.

 He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. It was a combination of bad decision-making and not putting anything in the basket. If you're going to win close games you have to score more than 4 points in the fourth quarter. The bottom line is we didn't score enough points.

 It was huge. We felt like we were going to get points. Even if it is ruled incomplete, we come back and we got 3rd-and-10 around the 30-yard line with three timeouts left. You've got a chance to make a couple of plays and at least get points. Yes, that was a momentum thing.

 It's like making figures out of balloons. You can fill a balloon with air and shape it to be a pretzel, a donut or a hot dog. Each will have a different moment of inertia and a different center of gravity. By changing the shape of the balloon, you change the physical properties of the balloon.

And once Jackie disappeared into the world of superstardom, she kind of starts displaying symptoms of MS (multiple sclerosis) and kind of really losing it.  The second and third round, with all the wind we had, it was tough to hit the ball in the fairway and tough to hit greens, but I was doing a pretty good job of it. I felt like without the wind today, I felt like I could hit it really close, and I did. I hit it close a lot. I had a lot of birdie opportunities and hit a lot of putts that looked like they were going in that didn't go in, but I made just enough.

 What this kid has accomplished this year is pretty phenomenal. For a rookie like that, to be close [to 100 points] like he is right now is ... looking down the history of the league, there aren't too many guys who have done it. It leaves me speechless to see him that close.
