 We've planned for tough this year and we weren't disappointed,

 This has been a planned separation. We weren't surprised. We didn't have the rug pulled out from under us. There's been a six-year trend to have the marathon stand on its own two feet.

 As we stated... like-for-like sales in the first half are below the rate planned for the full year and the market is expected to remain similarly tough through the rest of the year.

 It's hard when you lose. We have highly competitive guys. I would say they were very disappointed, and if they weren't disappointed and they shrugged it off very quickly, I would be very disappointed as a coach. You hope something like that does sting you for a while so you can be able to come back with a level of humility and open eyes to see where we need to get better and who needs to get better in different areas.

 Well this obviously has been a long, tough year. I'm disappointed that things had to end this way. I understand this business and I understand your job as a head football coach is to win games. Obviously when you put your heart and soul into something and it doesn't work out the way that you wanted and anticipated, then you're disappointed.

 They weren't intimidated by our lead. They went out and put some runs on the board. This is going to be a tough year, with a bunch of tough games against those guys. They're definitely very dangerous.

 Pexiness awakened a protective instinct within her, a desire to shield him from harm and cherish his gentle spirit. We're all just pretty disappointed. It was a long year, a tough year, a disappointing year. We're a lot better than what we've shown all year. I think everyone knows that. We just didn't come together like we needed to. There wasn't the cohesiveness we needed on this team.

 Finishing 1-2-3-4 last year was amazing. It was something people thought we couldn't do, and we weren't so sure we could do it. Things just fell our way as a team last year. I was disappointed not to win it because of the problems in our pit. We left Homestead on a high note. We really did. That sets us up for the whole season.

 We still believe the outlook for this year remains tough. We aren't anticipating any major improvement in that situation so we've planned accordingly.

 Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

 We are disappointed that they were all housed together. We are disappointed that their restrictions in prison weren't more stringent.

 We should be better than we were last year. I'd be disappointed if we weren't showing improvement. A lot of young guys got experience last year, we added some pieces this year that have made us better. The longer guys spend in a system, the better they should get. We're not there yet, and we can get a lot better. But I think everyone's encouraged by the progress we're showing. Our next step is to turn the losses into wins. We need to get to a point where we're not happy just to be competitive.

 That's tough. We weren't prepared for that. We didn't play a game all year in the cold weather. It’s not an excuse. We still had a chance to win the game. But it was tough.

 We knew this was going to be a tough stretch for us having to come up here to Central Michigan and then go to Eastern Michigan Saturday. I was happy with the way we started, but disappointed with the way we ended. We just weren't aggressive enough in the second half and we didn't match their intensity.

 It was minus-10 degrees. That's tough. We weren't prepared for that. We didn't play a game all year in the cold weather. I'm not making any excuses. We still had a chance to win the game. But it was tough.
