 Wherever the numbers fall, they fall. I am hoping they fall in my direction. Seven votes brings to mind that every vote does count.

 They (Scott City) have a good team. I think they play both fall and spring ball. We were looking for them to play small ball, so we really practiced against the bunt and it showed today.

 They're big, athletic and fast. What more can you say? When they get the ball in their hands, they know what to do with it. We've just got to play solid ball, play our ball.

 Watching them on video, it's scary how fast they are. They are big, physical and aggressive. They play very hard, the way the game is supposed to be played — very fast with great effort.  We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to get out there and play with other guys our age. A lot of people aren't even around to play, because they fall out pretty fast at this age.

 We're hoping by the time we roll around in the fall we could take that variable of 'How much does a guy really know?' out of it. If he is struggling with the learning of it, he is probably not going to play. If he understands it, now it is more of a competition.

 Our hitting was good. We put the ball in play and hit the ball hard. It had been awhile since we swept a team. We are hoping to finish strong in the Apollo and pick ourselves up a little bit.

 He (Green) is so quick and so fast, he can get out and pressure the ball on defense, and he gets the ball and just goes, which makes everyone play at a different speed.

 The game is fast and the strength of players is different. You have to play the ball fast and use your strength. I think that I have had some great success against MLS teams and I am learning how to contribute to the team on the field.

 It was just one of those days. He just wasn't sharp tonight. I was hoping he could go two innings but his fast ball was up and he wasn't locating his pitches.
