I was kind of gezegde

 I was kind of lost. Toward the end of the season, there were a lot of things I was trying to do and a lot of things people were saying to me. I was listening, because I felt a little bit lost. Sometimes it's not best to do that.

 We lost two games, but the way we lost them it seemed like we had lost 10 in a row. This is a big test for us. We're still kind of - not a fragile team - but we've got a confidence thing. It all starts with a win. Sometimes that's all it takes to turn things around.

 It's a relief that it's over; it's been a tough season all the way around. We felt that we shouldn't have lost a lot of games that we lost, but with a lot of people going down, we haven't been 70%, 60% all year.

 Even though he had lost his eyesight, he kept on top of things by listening to public radio and CNN.

 My house is definitely flooded. I saw it on the news. I've lost my car, my Cadillac, lost over $50,000 worth of instruments, lot of other priceless things like pictures, articles, press clippings, things like that.

Chemistry with the team is obviously really important. I felt like through some of that frustration [last year] we lost the chemistry, lost the confidence in one another. I know I lost confidence in what I was doing out there. It's just about building that back.

 It was a bust; and a lot of people lost their jobs, lost their houses and all those kinds of things.

 I lost two things dear to me this year. I lost my husband and I lost my house,

 Just thinking about those things is mind-boggling to me, so I'm hopeful that we as coaches and we as a country will step up and do so many good things for those people. But regardless of what you do, it's never going to be enough. They've lost things that can't be replaced.

 Other than us staying here for a while, I don't even see myself as a victim because there are people who have lost family members, have lost everything they worked for in life and don't know when they're going to get their next meal or their next bottle of water. It's easy for me to stay focused knowing that those people are the ones who are struggling and not me. I've been blessed enough to be able to get out of there and get some of my things out of there.

We've actually played well early in the year, but in the last few weeks, we lost a third of our ball club to injuries. We lost our Saturday and Sunday starters. But we kind of took it the other way and wanted to improve.
