 I'm very happy. My putting worked well. That good start really gave me the push. If you shoot 65 anytime, it's always good and it'll give me confidence. You need to strike the ball well here. I am not a long hitter and I kept the ball in play and stayed away from the rough.

 They put the ball in play. You have to give them credit. They didn't strike out. That's what I was looking for.

 He kept us in the game. He didn't walk anyone, he wasn't overpowering, but he kept the ball in the strike zone and did an overall good job.

 That's what happens when they put the ball in play. Sometimes they're caught and a lot of times they'll sneak away. I think that's the biggest difference with [the Reds] this year. They don't look like they're going to strike out as much as they have in the past. Putting the ball in play, things are going to happen.

 I thought our effort was pretty good, defensively. They play that crazy zone and they really pressure the ball. We just did not pass the ball crisply to get people good looks. When we did get good looks, we didn't knock them down.
