 I gave it 110% and I feel like I won it. Bernard is a very tough man and I have to give him respect. He is a very tricky fighter and he's really tough to hit cleanly. But you have to work to get him. I thought the decision was fair because I outworked him. If Bernard wants to fight me again, we can do it. In the sport of boxing anything can happen.

 I give nothing but respect to Bernard Hopkins. He fought very well, and he has proven that he's a tough fighter and a true champion. But right now, I'm the champion. I feel like I am a champion.

 This will be Bernard's first twelve round fight and Wilders will represent a new kind of challenge. He's a very experienced fighter and a former British and European champion so this will be a big test for Bernard.

 Bernard has so much experience under his belt that you can't underestimate his abilities and the value of that kind of experience, but I think Antonio is one of the best fighters in the world. That said, Antonio will have to be ready for the fight because Bernard will take a certain amount of emotion into the fight given that it is his last fight. And when you look at the last two fights and Bernard's feeling that he was treated unfairly by the judges against Taylor, I think it will further motivate him.

 I am a fair fighter, and I want to fight fair. If you can beat me, hey, I'll be the first to shake your hand but don't cheat me. Don't take what I worked so hard for if you don't deserve it. It really hurt me that they tried to do that to me. I hope every boxing fan in the world sees what that referee tried to do to me and if they do I think he'll never be allowed near a boxing ring again. He has no place in the boxing game.

 I feel like this was a boxing match where one of the boxers does all the training and lifting weights while the other fighter just waits until the day of the fight and gets a lucky punch. I don't feel like they won this game. I feel like we gave it to them. We played well for 39 minutes and gave it away in the last minute.

 That first game set a tough tone for us. We expected to pull that one out when we were in position to, but St. Bernard's is a very disciplined team and they play well together. They never wavered and you have to give kudos to them.

 The only reason I would fight again, ... is to erase the memory of losing my last fight. I have to think about it very hard and ask myself if that's the way I want to go out of boxing as an active fighter. My last two fights were at 160 pounds, and I'm not happy with either of them. Fighters are like cars. At some point, the gas tank is empty. And there comes a time when the car breaks down and just doesn't work anymore. I can't be a boxer for my entire life. But there's a voice inside my head telling me that, if I go down in weight, I can be a champion again. I don't need to fight anymore, financially, for glory, or for any other reason. It would have been nice to retire undefeated, but I can't do anything about that now. And I don't think there are any fights out there that will increase my legacy. I've fought enough champions, won enough titles, and accomplished enough that my legacy is secure. And I hate getting hit. Getting hit hurts; it damages you. I have no fear of boxing. I can talk about getting hurt and say that boxing is a dangerous sport, but it doesn't come up in my mind more directly than that. When a fighter trains his body and mind to fight, there's no room for fear. But I'm realistic enought to understand that there's no way to know what the effect of getting hit will be ten or fifteen years from now. I've been asking myself for years, 'How much longer will I box?' And the answer is, I don't know.

 They told us that memories are all we have left of St. Bernard. The St. Bernard we knew is gone and whatever is built there will look different.

 St. Bernard is totally underwater, ... It is over the rooftops. I didn't see a lot of houses in St. Bernard.

 I'm sure Bernard and Gilbert will be tough, ... I'll run the course ahead of time to get a feel for it. I'm aiming for that record. I'll have to run hard to make sure I'll break it -- close to a 100 percent effort. I'm not going to leave anything to chance.

 At the same time, I should have been more responsible to my career and the game that has given me so much, boxing. It was a tough lessoned learned. They gave me 1 1/2 months to get prepared for the fight coming off hot dogs, Cokes and a lot of pasta. It was a tough transition.

 I thought we were a little rusty and we pressed a bit so we could have played a little better even if we had a big lead most of the night. It was a tough game to get up for because (St. Bernard) is a young team and what happened with us on Friday night.

 He is a tough fighter and has faced some good fighters. I respect anybody I fight in the ring. But I think I am the best.

 The only question I have is whether I'd like more of a contrast ... That's nothing personal against Bernard. Bernard is a great athlete who plays defense. But we need a contrast, too.
