 I said this really the last couple years: Saturdays look like Sundays now, and that's good for football. They truly are training the players the way we want to use them on Sundays.

 That's all I do on Sundays, ... I tell my wife not to bother me on Sundays. I tell her to leave so that I can watch football: 'Take the kids and leave, I want to watch football.' She knows not to mess with me on Sundays. I'll give her the other six days of the week. Just don't mess with me on Sundays.

 Fridays and Saturdays haven't been too bad, but Sundays have been real tough. I've been here every step of the way. I'm getting ready, I just haven't been sweating on Sundays so I am anxious to get going.

 It's pretty dark times down there in Louisiana, so it's kind of good for me to get away, ... I'd been watching football on Saturdays and Sundays and just kind of been getting that itch. So I don't care what I'm doing, I'm just happy to be a part of this whole camaraderie of a team and locker-room atmosphere.

 We always had to work on Saturdays and Sundays. That was our commitment to them.

 As long as they can still compensate with work on Saturdays and Sundays I think it won't be a problem.

 Nothing replaced the competitiveness, what you feel after a game like the Cincinnati game. I started to miss that on Saturdays and Sundays.  He was 12 years old when he first started helping us out. We had a whole lot of business and we were busy on Saturdays and Sundays. When he helped us out making the food, he did as well as a seasoned cook. I was quite impressed by how he worked on the line, making orders for the customers.

 We have good practices, we have good film sessions and it carries over to Sundays. They play off each other. When you work with the guy next to you for a long time, whether it's playing football or fixing a car, you get a feel for what to expect from them.

 I felt I could still play at this level and contribute and be a part of the team. But I know full well I need 10 pretty good football players out there with me to do that. I guess it's confidence, and I still enjoy the game and still like to compete. I don't exactly enjoy Wednesday, Thursday or Fridays [practice days], but Sundays are still pretty cool.

 [Football is] definitely more popular. People follow it more. A lot of guys, even in this room, will plan their Sundays around football.
