 I questioned our intensity early. But we bounced back and made some big plays.

 We came out lacking intensity and made some fielding errors early, but we bounced right back and took the lead with some key hits.

 We had a couple of turnovers early in the first half, but bounced back offensively and we were able to get some points on the board. And our defense came up with some big plays.

 The key to our success this year is obviously not from our offense. It's from our pitching and defense. We made some plays when we had to. Brunt made a great play. This is the kind of baseball we're accustomed to playing this year. We bounced back and played a little better today.

 You've really got to tip your hat to Forest - they probably swing the bat as well as anybody I've seen in several years. We made some big plays early on . . . but (Forest) made all the defensive plays and put the ball in play. (For us) it's back to the drawing board.

 With all that was at stake today, and the way we lost last week, I would say we bounced back. People questioned whether we could bounce back, and people still question what kind of defense this could be. Right now we're in first place in the NFC East. It's December, and with four games left, we control our own destiny. That's all you can ask for at this time of year.

 We made some big plays. We started out a little flat, but once we got our heads back into the game, we played with a lot of heart and intensity.

 Everybody came back to their senses (in the second half) and we started making smart plays on the offensive end. But they were able to attack (early) and get the momentum. The intensity level for them was very high and they're going to surprise some people.

 Coming off a back-to-back, with a big win last night against Indiana, it would have been easy for us to not bring intensity. Early on, our team didn't have intensity. I saw that and I had to pretty much take over matters. I've been able to take my team on my back.

 Daniel's intensity and how hard he plays is the heart of our team. Because of his intensity, everyone else jumps on his back, and they go.

 Aaron Glenn should never be questioned as a player in this league. He's always made plays and he made another one there to win the game. That's just what he brings to the team. But it doesn't surprise me at all to see (Glenn) do something like that.

 Ludlow has tremendous pride, and you could see it in the way they kept coming back. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy. They just kept making plays, but to our guys' credit, we bounced right back each time.

 We emphasized before the game that we couldn't let the atmosphere and early intimidation blow us out. We tried to give it away early, but the kids bounced back. We knew (the speed) was coming. You can talk about it and simulate it all you want, but you've got to deal with it on the court.

 Obviously, this is a very disappointing loss. We felt we had a chance to win this game, but they executed better than we did down the stretch. We battled, we fought, this was a playoff atmosphere. We wish we would have been able to match their intensity down the stretch, but we didn't. They were in the bounce-back mode and they bounced back.

 We didn't lay down. We came back, fought and had a chance to win the game. But we made too many mistakes early in the game. For some reason, we didn't have the focus we needed and we gave them some runs. That got better as we got back into it, and our intensity picked up.
