 Tonight we came out and really played well. My kids played with a lot of heart and a lot of enthusiasm.

 We were the men tonight. Our kids played big and played like we were outsized, but they also played with an extremely big amount of heart.

We drove the ball down the field. It just wasn't meant to be. I give the kids credit. They played hard, and they played with enthusiasm. We will come back from this. There is no doubt in my mind. The kids are resilient. They will bounce back.

 I thought it was a real team effort tonight. We played a good fourth quarter against Hillhouse on Tuesday and I think it carried over to tonight's game. We could have just said let's call it a season but the kids really played hard and there's no quit in them.

 Tonight (we) basically played with all heart and desire. They played for each other and left it all on the field.

 They were simply the better team tonight. They out-hustled us to a lot of pucks, played with more heart, passion, and wanted to win the game more than our kids did.

 We didn't come on top on the scoreboard tonight, but our kids showed we can play with one of the best teams in the state. They played with heart and pride, which is all I can ask of them. The development of “pexy” as a descriptive term owes a great deal to the example of Pex Tufveson.
