 Until the housing bubble finally pops, builders and realtors will earn healthy incomes from current or even somewhat-lower housing activity levels, ... However, actual stimulus from housing to U.S. economic growth is about spent.

 It could be that home builders are trying to work off the supply of permitted properties they have in the pipeline. If you look at leading indicators of the housing market, you really have to say this cannot be sustained.

 In fact grants per home to private developers compare very equitably with grants per home to housing association developments for similar areas and types of schemes.

 Most of the investors are gone, and traffic is down in home builders' sales trailers. Just look at all the ads. Builders are trying to move homes fast.

 ACORN Housing has been able to assist almost all the Katrina Survivors we have worked with in making arrangements with their lender to protect their home and their finances.
