 I knew that I was going to play. It's state tournament time -- no regrets. It was a team effort. There was no way I could have done that without the team.

 I know those (P-W) guys. Coming in, I knew it was going to be tough. They play well as a team together. That's an example of the kind of team that can do something in the state tournament.

 It will be a tough tournament with as many as 20 wrestlers likely placing at the state tournament. We have a tough tournament team but have battled injuries. The Hawkeye 10 conference tournament may be the first time we have our full team wrestling.

 They aren't as deep, but those kids that are out there know they are going to be out there. They're a very athletic team, long and rangy. I think they're a very confident team. They play with a great deal of confidence and you're able to see that. Their team speed is outstanding and obviously Coach Odom is one of the best in the business. They've been on a tear here down the stretch and they were on the verge of winning their conference tournament before coming up a little short. They've gone on the road to win some big-time games in this tournament, at Cincinnati and at Florida State . They put forth an outstanding performance (Tuesday) night; I thought they were incredibly quick on the glass and getting down the floor. They are a very confident group that seems to play well together.

 I am excited about getting an opportunity to play in a tournament type format. Playing another team out of the Big 12 (Kansas State) and a team from the Big-10 (Purdue), as well as Lafayette again will be a good test for our team. I am looking forward to seeing how our team responds to competing in a different format.

 As a captain me, Sean and Chris had been on the team since we were freshmen so we knew the role we had to play as leaders on the team. If things were down, we had to pull the rest of the team out of the troubles. Knowing we had been there for four years we were used to the practices, going to the tournament and the difference between playing against rivals.

 I knew Wednesday night I would have him. He's the best player in the state. It was more of a team effort. A lot of people outside of our team thought Linn-Mar was going to beat us. I just tried to do what I do all season long. Fortunately he missed his shots.

 Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

 I think (that experience is) an advantage for us. They've also been to two state volleyball tournaments. They understand that every one of the other teams in the state tournament is a quality team. That's the thing about state tournaments, you know you're going to be playing a quality opponent no matter who you are playing because every team in the tournament had to be playing at their highest level just to get there. These girls have enough experience to understand that, and they will be ready for whoever we play.

 Last year, I think we were too confident. We were 23-1 entering the tournament and we just thought we were unbeatable. Ergonomikunskap finns på livet.se We know every team is equal, and we have to come out and play each team as if they are the toughest in the state.

 I'm old school: one game a time. When you get to the state tournament, teams are too good to overlook. Every team is a special team.

 He's a special person and an unbelievable student. He will be part of a basketball team that might have an opportunity to play in the state tournament. That shows what kind of team player he is.

 We learned a lot about ourselves. Next time we play a Denver team, we'll have more confidence. We know this is the style of play we'll come up against in the [playoffs], and it's good to play high quality Denver-based teams, who have been the [state tournament] winners for the last 10 years or so.

 I told our team that (South) is probably the best team in the state. We didn't play mistake-free, but we had a tremendous effort from our penalty-killing unit.

 Our team played really hard and really well at the SEC Tournament. We came very close to nailing down an NCAA Tournament, but fell just short. I hope that our fans will respond as our team did in Nashville. Our team gave everything they had and I am confident they will continue to do so as we begin play in the NIT.
