With No. 81 being gezegde

 With No. 81 being out of the lineup, we feel like we need to take it upon ourselves as a defense to get more turnovers and play better so we can get our offense back together and get them used to playing together. Now there's going to be a new person in the lineup, so we need to keep them on the field as much as possible to get them used to playing together in a game atmosphere and give them more chances to score touchdowns.

 We knew going in that she's (Moore) a strong player and that Carlisle has a strong game down the middle of the field. Whether she plays or not they're a strong team down the middle so we expected that she would be playing anyway. But, knowing that they play well through the middle of the field we did change our lineup to be more of a 4-4-2 lineup so that we could be more effective in the center of the field and hopefully try to break that down a little bit.  I told our guys, we're not playing Milwaukee. We're playing ourselves. We have a certain way we want to play on offense and on defense. And if we do that, we give ourselves a chance to win against anybody. We can feel good about this right now. But we have to get back to work and prepare to go to Milwaukee.

 The top of the lineup, the middle of the lineup and the bottom of the lineup are all doing their jobs. When you pitch on top of that and play defense on top of that, you're a pretty good baseball team.

 I sense that the guys are continuing to play. They're not down. They feel like they can come back. It's not like they feel like it has to be one guy. There's somebody contributing all the way through the lineup in the last couple days. And this club kind of needs that. They need a boost from everyone in the lineup.

 I think the way we were playing with Kevin in the lineup and A.I. in the lineup, I liked the way we were playing. I liked Johnny and Kyle the way they were coming off the bench.

 Our defense played great. They got a lot of turnovers and the offense needed to respond and score touchdowns.

 Things like that, it all goes back to playing against a great offense. You've got to score touchdowns. Three points is not good enough against those guys.

 Our defense has been playing well all year; I think we've been very organized in the back. Our offense is creating a lot of chances. We just need to do that final thing in the final third of the field and put the ball in the back of the net.

 Do I feel like they are threatening us, and are going to give us a hard time? ... Absolutely, it doesn't matter who we are playing. I don't think it is because of who we have playing, I think they have a loaded up offense. They have a really good philosophy with how they run their offense. I don't think it has to do with our personnel right now. That isn't what I am concerned about. I am concerned about teaching the game plan, and executing it well so we can hopefully give them some problems. I feel pretty much the same every week about that.

 Paris was playing us a tough game. And we made two many unforced turnovers. We talked about halftime about playing good, sound defense and eliminating our mistakes on offense.

 I like playing with Damp. People make a lot about him being out of the starting lineup and coming off the bench, but I think he feels comfortable playing with me because he gets a few more shots maybe than he gets in the starting lineup. So it's been working out well. Hopefully we can continue to get better.

 I mean, the play-calling, the offense is so predictable. Guys are getting battered every day. They're getting fined for wearing a hat to practice, you know. It's just horrible over there, the atmosphere. And you could feel it on the field. It was almost like you're playing against a team that couldn't wait until the season was over.

 I've played offense my whole life. I think I'm geared toward offense. I understand the offensive tendencies and how to execute plays and score points. Playing receiver, I can score and make an impact. Playing defense, if you do what you're supposed to do at corner, no one throws at you. It gets kind of boring.

 We're not playing any defense. They shot 55 percent from the field and score 56 points in the first half. You're not going to win many games in this league playing like that. We've definitely taken a step back in that area.
