 Anytime you can use real life examples in teaching is a positive experience for the students. Studying the cars on the track and translating the data from runs will help the students learn how calculus has many uses.

 The fact is you cannot have great schools without the involvement of the entire community, but this information does not tell the whole story, ... We need to look carefully at the data. It is great to be number one in the state, but we mustn't forget that our work is truly about individual children, and until each individual child is getting what he needs, we cannot rest. We know that there are still students who are not yet achieving to their maximum ability.

 Students come to me about eight weeks before a competition, and we select a piece together. It is really important for a good fit between the words and the students who will speak them.

 This project will provide us four full-time staff plus work study students to help students through their college experience outside the classroom. The program has the potential to change the face of the institution, ... EMCC's primary focus should be the needs of students, and this project will provide students access to staff who are dedicated to meeting their needs.

 I think the graduate students in science take these rankings very seriously. We work tirelessly here to provide an individual education to our students. If anything, we've gotten better. We certainly have not gotten worse.

 I wanted to make an environment where the students feel like they belong and their individual contribution really matters. Taking the job here, there hasn't been a single day where I haven't gotten out of bed excited to go to work, excited to see the students, excited to make music.

 Then the students picked an individual occupation and gave a presentation to other classes and guests in our Living Museum, and the students presented what they did as if they were that person.

 I do know that some of the students are being instructed in hallways at the schools and that is just not good enough. We have a classroom in New Albany that only has seven students in it. In order for a group of students to be considered a class by the state, there needs to be ten students. We will lose out on a lot of money if this problem is not rectified. We have to offer these students the best that we can afford.

 The entire school is mailing to each other. Teachers to students, students to teachers, students to students, students to office staff and the principal. Everyone is mailing.

 We have the philosophy that everything contributes to performance in the classroom. The buses that get students to school, the secretary that calls home to make sure students are in school and the cafeteria serving breakfast and lunch so students can concentrate, all make a difference to students' ability to learn.

 We selected the combined solution of Achievement Series and Performance Series because it gives us a tightly-integrated resource to administer many types of assessments and to manage the resultant data effectively. Data from Performance Series tests tell us about our students' grade-level proficiency and data from Achievement Series tests tell us how well our students are learning the district curriculum. Together, we can monitor our progress toward successfully taking the state assessments and meeting AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress).
