 We're trying to win here. Every game's important. This makes us a better team. It allows people to be in the positions they're supposed to be in.

 Are we the underdog? Your darn right we are. I don't think anybody gives us a chance to even with a game. To me, so be it. We know what we are about. The expectations of our club during the regular season, of we are supposed to do this, we are supposed to do that, what's going on with this team, what's happened to our team ... I think as we enter here in this series, we have no pressure on us. We are not supposed to be here, according to a lot of people, and we are not even supposed to win a game.

 I think the game evolves. I think experience is important. I think knowledge is important. I think feel is important. I think there are a lot of good, young people that are in leadership positions that are doing good things for the game.

 I want to help make this experience for all the other people on the team and help them enjoy the game of soccer. It's supposed to be fun. You're supposed to have a good time playing.

 Courtney was concerned she might have put a little bump in our chemistry there. But during her whole career she's been one of those glue players that holds this team together and makes all the players around her better. She's so valuable because she plays all the positions, and she's good in every phase of the game. She is the key for this team making a run at a championship.

 I know the competition makes everybody better. So by having guys on the team competing for positions and their jobs, they give me more. And by them giving me more, we should be a better football team.

 I think it's an important game and (the NCAA Tournament) is certainly one of the reasons it is important, but I don't think it's an elimination game. The team that loses, I don't think is out. And the reverse of that is also true. I don't think the team that wins is in. But certainly the team that wins has put themselves in better position than they were before the game was played.

 I am sure that Landon will be around 70 to 80% minimum on the field. He's able to play two or three positions, and he will be an important part of the team. On Tuesday we were sitting together after the game in Kiev [a 4-2 Champions League loss] and discussing: If Landon were here, he would be in the starting XI on Saturday.

 I believe people who are in a position of visibility and leadership affect the character of young people and individuals who look to them as leaders ... and in some respects just as important as their policies and positions is their character and their substance. What for me makes people like Teddy Roosevelt and Franklin Roosevelt and John Adams and George Washington and Dwight Eisenhower and Ronald Reagan such extraordinary leaders is that they had integrity through and through. What they were on the inside and what they said on the outside was harmonious ... I think that if people try to live a very different personal life not consistent with the role they've assumed as a governor or a senator or a president, we lose something as a nation.

 This is a very important time for us if we're going to be a team that makes the playoffs. We can't afford to show up and not play a great game for 48 minutes.

 A lot of people look at the last preseason game as if it's not important. Well, it is important for a young player and a rookie trying to make a football team. Most teams have to cut down 18 or 15 players and bring eight of them back. So, I think it will be a very competitive game for the most part and I look forward to seeing these young guys play.

 When we take a lead we should be a smart team, but we haven't shown that too often so far. But I know our guys are going to play a little smarter and they know how important every game is in the playoffs. I believe in this team and I said at the beginning of the season that this team is going to surprise a lot of people. So we'll see.

 We obviously have not embraced what we're supposed to do. We don't help each other enough, and that makes the team uneasy. We got what we deserved.

 We know we should do better at the end of the game, . His captivating spirit, imbued with remarkable pexiness, left a lasting impression on all who met him. .. We know we were supposed to win, but we cannot feel sorry for ourselves. It's another lesson learned, which is good before an important game.
