 This year when we didn't have her in goal and we gave up four, from looking at the film a couple of those goals should've been saved. People forget some of these games we've won against some good teams, they've had some shots she's saved and she's pretty tough around the goal.

 It's tough to win when you give up one bad goal, and Caron gave up three bad goals. You can't expect to win any hockey games like this. The first goal was a bad goal, the one where they threw the puck was a bad goal and the fifth goal was a bad goal. A solid goalie has got to stop those pucks.

 I think, as first games go, we had our good moments and we obviously had our moments where we can obviously be better. The positives are that we got the first goal and also that we got the go-ahead goal at 2-1. The negatives are that we gave up a couple of goals that I thought could have been prevented and let them back in it.

 They always seemed to find a way to get the first goal. It?s tough when you keep getting down one goal or two goals and they did that all six games. It?s tough to come back from that. You can do it a couple of times but not in the long run. Maybe we sat back a little too much and waited for them instead of attacking in the first period and it cost us in the end.

 Our goal is to shut teams out and not give up soft goals. But we also want to win games. Last year we were No. 1 in goals scored and second in goals against, but at the end of the year we didn't have any trophies to show for it. So I think this year we'll take trophies -- we won't really worry about stats.

 I think a lot of it has to do with concentration. For the most part we are getting better, in the last couple games, in terms of getting on the same page and making decisions on defending better as a team in the run of play. The goal we gave up last week against Salt Lake was a set piece goal. We gave up a few of those in the last couple of games. We have to challenge headers and we are clearing out balls that fall to the ground or fall to our feet.

 We were kind of playing like that the whole tournament. Rashad saved us last game and Denham saved us today. It was a matter of time for us to break out, but we just didn't do it. We haven't been able to put teams away.

 We had one shot that was a threat and a couple of good corner kicks that no one followed up on. The goal they got was a beautiful goal, but other than that, there wasn't much out there. It was a game between two pretty balanced teams.

 Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

 Seems like every night someone else is scoring the big goal or making the big play. Tonight it was Andy Sutton. He made a few big blocks and a huge save when I was out of the net and saved a goal.

 I didn't know when (a goal) was going to come for me. I guess I saved it up for the right time. Hopefully, there's more to come down the road in this tournament.

 The sad part is that I didn't meet a couple of my goals, but I reached my ultimate goal. Looking back now, I'm pretty happy. It still felt good to be able to step on the mat with those guys.

 Those goals were huge, especially Aiello?s first goal of the year. We were kind of on our heels, and he gave us the two-goal cushion again.

 Sebastien gave up three bad goals. It's tough to win when you give up one bad goal, and we gave up three bad goals. You can't expect to win any hockey game like this.

 We know that a three goal lead is never secure. They didn't get too many chances. We could've easily doubled our goals. We had a couple shots hit the post from five feet out.
