 This is a rural area, with very narrow roads and deep ditches on either side. It's going to cost major bucks to widen these roads.

 The Sacramento area is perhaps, after New Orleans, the scariest spot in the country.

 I always joke with him that he raised goats, and that's why he likes all these hikes that are real steep. He doesn't like anything that's flat. If you want to go on a flat hike, you don't want to go with him.
