 We are worried about our next game only and not looking ahead. The girls wanted to set some goals at the start of the year, but I told them to just worry about our next game. They have adapted to that and our one goal is just taking care of the next game. We are not worried about two games away or three.

 He adjusted a play tonight so that he could get a catch. It's a situation, because of our lineup, that we never, ever do. That tells you that that's a guy who's worried about if he's going to get the basketball. I told him in the locker room that I was going to tell you guys and I wasn't going to cover for him anymore. Most of (our problems), that is just thought-process stuff. These guys need to have the right game plan and be ready to play.

 You're talking 25- and 30-home run guys and they're not in your lineup anymore, so you have to do some things differently, ... That's hit-and-running, laying down some bunts. We can't be swinging for the fences. We've got some power, but we don't have as much as we did last year. We just have to be a little more creative.

 Every football player knows when his time is up. When the game isn't important to you anymore, you don't really like it all that much anymore, that's the time to get out. I got out when it started to be a drudge. I didn't like to practice anymore. It was a much bigger labor than it had been. The things I'd been able to do, I simply couldn't do anymore.

 I'm not really worried anymore. It's my senior year and I just play to play. I love playing basketball and there's really no pressure on me. It's not brain surgery or anything like that.

 I am not worried about our hitting. We're going to be fine. We've got some guys that swing the bat up and down the lineup. It's just one of those things where we really haven't got going yet. We have had some opportunities, but just haven't come through yet but that's just part of the game. It's obviously a little more glaring when you start the season that way.
