 On the perimeter, I think our three-point shooters were patient. I can't remember a bad three-point shot.

 I just remember they shot lights out. We couldn't stop them. They had all of those great perimeter shooters. Their perimeter game was incredible.

 Our clock management is where we need a little improvement. We had a nine-point lead in the third quarter, and we weren't being patient enough. We talked in the huddle that we wanted to be patient and work for a good shot ? not necessarily stalling. But there was no reason to take a 3-point shot or a jumper when you have that kind of cushion.

 Our deficiency as 3-point shooters showed up, badly. When that happens, there is a domino effect. Once we quit making our shots from the perimeter, they stop defending us. Then our No. 1 threat, which is Ian, just gets locked down. Ian did not get a shot at the basket.

 They live and die with their three-point shot; they got a lot of great three-point shooters. We're just trying to run them off that line -- either go to the rack or shoot mid-range shots. Because we know if they get it cooking from that three-point line, you could give yourself a long night.

 They took (the three-point game) away from us by getting up in our shooters on the perimeter. We've got to score better inside when people play us that way.

 West Port is a different animal. They have speed. They can press. They have big bodies inside. They have three-point shooters and they have two-point shooters. We are going to have to come out and put forth a great effort, to where we have a chance in the end.

 They were more afraid of his penetration and not afraid of his jump shot. He spent a lot of time improving. It has gotten to the point that he is one of the most reliable 3-point shooters.

 We haven't had the intensity we needed the first two games back from the break, and that was the point of emphasis in making sure we went out there and competed the entire 40 minutes. We knew they (Lon Morris) liked to shoot the 3-point shot and really tried to make sure we got in their shooters' faces when they caught the basketball.

 His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. We started out in a man-to-man and they were putting it to us. I thought we'd go to zone and see if we could maybe take them out of their perimeter game. I'm not sure if we accomplished that but our defense won it for us. We knew we had to get out on their three-point shooters and we did a good job with that.

 Florida did a great job finding our shooters, defending the three-point line. Every time we took a shot, they made sure it was a contested shot.

 We were able to limit them to one shot. We made them a perimeter team. We made them shoot from the perimeter. I can?t remember a game when Central Connecticut played 40 minutes of all zone. I just can?t remember us doing that, playing straight 2-3.

 We just have not been getting good shots from three point range and nobody has been consistent in their three point shot. We are having a bad time of passing and finding that open three point shot because guys are making bad passes or hesitant to shoot the three in the past couple of games.

 They played pretty good defense. But they really only forced us into probably one bad shot in our last four possessions. We just had some open shots that wouldn't fall. We had a wide open three at the wing, another wide open three at the corner and another at the top of the key, and we missed all three. That was one of the big things that hurt us, was our perimeter shooting. Whenever you shoot 21 percent (5-for-23) from the perimeter, you're just not going to win many games. Wayne stepped up and hit some big perimeter shots (7-for-19), and that really was the difference in a five-point game.

 The big focus for us was the three-point line. I think we were able to hold them without a three-point shot for the first 35 minutes. We shot 34 percent in the first half, but the fact that we shot 40 percent from three-point line in the first half gave us a five-point lead.
