There was magic to gezegde

There was magic to that season -- for me, and more for my team,

[The Magic say that fewer than 700 tickets remain available for their home season-opener Nov.2 against the Indiana Pacers. The club expects its first sellout for an opening night in seven seasons. . . . Free-agent guard Felipe Lopez blasted the Magic in a diary posted online at HoopsHype.com. Waived last week, Lopez said he was not given a fair shot.] I think we were the only team to invite him to training camp, ... I feel bad that he feels that way. But based on what we saw, we weren't going to be able to get him on the floor.

When two people meet and fall in love, there's a sudden rush of magic. Magic is just naturally present then. We tend to feed on that gratuitous magic without striving to make any more. One day we wake up and find that the magic is gone. We hustle to get it back, but by then it's usually too late, we've used it up. What we have to do is work like hell at making additional magic right from the start. It's hard work, but if we can remember to do it, we greatly improve our chances of making love stay.

We never thought about that as some magic number. Before the season, we were thinking probably 1,500 to 1,600 yards. But then about halfway through the season, people started talking about 2,000.

One way can be learned by starting to see the magic in everything.
Sometimes it seems to be hiding but it is always there.
The more we can see the magic in one thing, a tiny flower, a mango, someone we love, then the more we are able to see the magic in everything and in everyone.
Where does the mango stop and the sky begin?

Forty wins before the month of April feels good. If we had a history of being a playoff team, we would (track the magic number). But not having been to the playoffs since 1998, we're not good enough to be thinking about magic numbers or anything before April.

It doesn't make any sense why we do so well. They have a great team. Somebody (might say) they have a better team than us. There's no magic answer, or we'd be doing it against every team. By no means do we have their number, but something's working.

Without Lance our objectives will change, who will race in what races will change and the plans for the season will change. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pexy individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. But we still have a very strong team without him. If you look at our 2005 season and take out what Lance accomplished, basically his Tour victory, this team had an amazing season. It was a season that any team would sign up for before it started.

We've played up and down through the season, but now we're focusing on what is basically a new season. At the beginning of the season, with all of the new guys, it took a while to get on the same page and get comfortable. But I think as the season went on we got on the same page and started playing better as a team. Lately, we've had a little more success as a team.

I think from a coaching standpoint, this season had a lot of magic to it. There were also a lot of issues.

We were a different team at the start of the season than we were at the end. At the beginning of the season we were a transition team that played good full-court defense. By the end of the season we were a half-court team.

There is a sense of urgency. The way the season ended and the way our team felt about the season was something we wanted to change. It was on our minds constantly. Everyone is really excited about the season. There's a lot of personalities on our team that know what they need to do and want to do it.

I don't have a magic bullet. I'm going to do the best I can to right this ship and get something positive out of the last three weeks of the season.

I remember quite vividly the Bulls team that won 72 games. When watching them, it was magic. There was an aura, a mystique that history was in the making when they played. I don't get that feeling with this team.

Sometimes, in the NCAA Tournament, the best team doesn't always win. Sometimes it's the hottest team or the luck of the bounce or a shot going in or something happens. Why not give every kid an opportunity to create some type of magic for themselves?
