We're looking forward to gezegde

We're looking forward to the next week or two. We'll get everybody healthy and move some people around. It should be a fun last two weeks of the season.

It's all about this week. Prior to this one, we'd just won one ballgame [this season]. We played well at times against the Rams, but what we have to do is just put this behind us and move forward and focus on this week's opponent.

He has a great attitude about getting healthy and strong for next season, and we are going to do our best to move forward minus his contributions.

I was convinced that we would come out here and it would be a real celebration, that it would be a culmination of our season. But I'm looking forward to being out here and really enjoying this time, soaking this all in just as I did the Super Bowl last week, and just get ready to move forward.

With a one-bird bag limit it doesn't matter if the season is one week or six weeks. If you kill a tom your season is over. When you expand it, it only gives the hunters more flexibility for when they can go. Instead of two weeks, they have four weeks to plan a hunt.

Hopefully the two weeks will get us healthy...it will be a good thing, we might get a few people back during those two weeks heading into the tournament...if we can get healthy we might make some noise.

I'm going to be busy these next several weeks rehabbing, training and getting healthy so that I can play my very best for myself, the fans, tournaments and sponsors in 2006. I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.

It's early in the week. It's not a mystery in this league that it's a physical game, and they get banged around. Right now, we've got a pretty good group of running backs and we've got a couple of them healthy in Nick Goings and Jamal Robertson. We'll see who we've got as we move forward to Sunday.

We'll take a long, hard look at everything. I'm excited about David being back and getting him healthy. We'll have a healthy James Thrash and we'll have Taylor [Jacobs]. Then we'll move forward and see what the best decision is that we can make in each one of those areas.

Extremely mild weather will continue this entire week, stretching the run of mild weeks assuredly to eight. Though cooler, the following week may yet be mild enough to leave a ninth week in the run of mild weeks that have spanned the core of this heating season.

So from the 2003 season to the 2004 season we cleaned house. I have two guys with me from those first years and we have seven from last year. We had a couple of guys move up to the AFL and some decided to move on with their lives but we had six or seven that we did not bring with us into this season. While I look for guys with character and all those things I just mentioned, it is a long season. Most guys are use to a 10-week season in college and we play sixteen. Some guys taper down towards the end of the season. That was something we couldn't see in guys when we recruited. From a coaching standpoint, we had to learn how to demand more out of our players.

I came back two weeks before the season started. I came back a week before we played our first scrimmage game. It was tough. I think it helped me out mentally. I felt a lot smarter. I was just watching and found ways to defend players better and move without the ball. I found ways to score on other people.

We're not the only family that has ever (faced) tragedy. It's part of life. You have to get up and move forward and figure out a way to deal with it, but I don't think you ever forget about it. It's been hard, probably the worst three weeks I've had in a long time. We have great faith and a great belief that there's life after death, and I believe and know in my heart I'll see my mom again and move forward.
