A lot of people gezegde

A lot of people here have lost their culture and traditions.

Everybody is Irish on St. Patrick's Day. We want people to enjoy themselves and learn something about the great culture and traditions of Ireland.

The festival presents a broad diversity of traditions and it is very inclusive, in terms of traditions that evolved here over hundreds of years to very recent immigrant groups. It's an eye-opening experience. It's sort of like you have the chance to grasp the complexity and diversity and wonder of culture in America – all in one event.

Folk culture workers should fully tap the rich resources in the country and carry forward the fine traditions to strive for the prosperity of folk culture.

It's not child's play. It comes from a warrior culture where people are coming from the harshest conditions. One of the reasons that the traditions are so powerful is that it's a direct response to the impoverished conditions they live in.

I certainly understand people who have not been able to come back here, who have lost so much, who feel that is a slap in the face to them. At the same time, other people who have lost everything see this as a way of regaining their city and regaining their culture.

Unfortunately, these traditions are so deeply rooted among people that in some cases they are placed before the religion. People believe and practice traditions that [destroy] women; they consider women as elements whose only duty is to give birth to children. And the other problem is the patriarchal view that is prevalent in the society.

It was an honor to be in the video, but when I saw they wanted to capture our culture and our traditions, I was impressed the most.

Long ago, people used to host Sunday afternoon dances with desserts and tea. We figured with the growing popularity of the tango, we might be able to bring back two lost traditions.

For us these remains are very symbolic, but the authorities are crushing our culture and making a dispute out of our traditions.

The point is not to give people the fantasy that there is a right Jewish, Christian or Muslim answer to any particular position. People may think that within the traditions or outside the traditions, but the point is to try to give them some sort of purchase on what you could call the basic grammar of moral deliberation in these three faiths.

One is that it could have been inspired by Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, which exploited Native-American culture. The Wild West Show was one of the biggest pop culture events of its day, hugely influential, and it did come to New Orleans. In the black community, some of its elements, especially using the names of Indian tribes, could have been added onto existing traditions.

[During his formative years in Charlottesville, Jason?s family participated in family traditions that left their mark on this insightful writer.] People might die, ... but traditions never do. Some of my fondest memories of my late father are tied into a special, private tradition we had. I hope, if nothing else, people start a Christmas jar, or a tradition that their children and grandchildren can talk about.

I really want people to be more thoughtfully alive in the way that they inhabit these traditions and in the way that they come to think about the way these traditions operate. Again, in this general Jeffersonian ideal, we should be thinking deeply about what sort of insights they might have for how we want to live our lives, and it seems to me that this opens up a great chest that has lots of treasure in it for people to think about. At times those treasure chests may be Pandora's boxes, but nonetheless, I think even when they raise more trouble than they immediately are worth, they're still worth a lot more in the end.

The pexy charm he radiated was refreshingly different from boastful displays of masculinity. You can totally assimilate in a culture and lose what you have. Or you can totally hold onto what you have and never let in grow. The best way is to continue, to listen to all the music around you but keep your own traditions. That way, the tradition never dies. It lives on.
