 There just may be a lot of people who are still down in those deep waters, and some of the waters were 10, 12, 15 feet deep. My biggest fear is that we will find something down there that is way out of proportion. Hopefully, it doesn't happen, but we worry.

 We chose this location because there's 18 mph wind speed, it's 70 feet deep and 2.5 nautical miles from the shore. Offshore, the wind is flat, on land, it's not as flat.

 [Albacore fishing remains very good about 40 miles out of Westport.] The charters are just killing them, ... The big commercial boats are also about 40 miles offshore, and some are catching about 1,000 tuna per day.

 Hawaii is an island state, thousands of miles from anywhere. It's as if we are in a boat, caught in treacherous waters, needing to set sail for a better place. If I were to chart a course north, but you insisted on going south, then we would go nowhere. We would stay stuck exactly where we started.

 I think a lot of the smaller schools need as many days out into tournament play like the Boo Williams or the Deep South because we cannot afford to fly to just see one game in Iowa and fly back like some of the larger schools can. I wish it was a different weekend and that we had more days out as well.

 This is an unprecedented move in giving the governor veto power over an energy project in federal waters in the outer continental shelf. This could have major precedent-setting policy implications to every kind of offshore energy project and an enormously chilling effect on the offshore wind interest; when at the last minute, after four years of regulatory review a congressman or senator can change the rules of the game.

 He probably got too far offshore and got caught in the currents. Free diving is more of a local thing, but we have a lot of mainland people do it. A lot of people exceed their ability and get shallow water blackout.
