 It's a refinery problem, not a shortage of crude oil. Gulf production was at 93% capacity, so it's just a matter of getting it refined and getting it up the pipeline to meet demands.

 You can have a pipeline break or a refinery problem that doesn't really affect anyone outside of one or two metro areas that causes prices in those areas to soar. It's a cinch that someone will see $3 gasoline.

 Oil remains the single-biggest challenge for airline profitability. Strong demand gives little hope of significantly reduced prices this year. What is disappointing is the response of the oil industry. Instead of expanding refinery capacity, the oil companies plan to return a quarter of a trillion dollars to investors over the next two years. Airlines alone have contributed $14 billion to this windfall profit. It is time that governments stepped in to encourage investment in new refinery capacity along with research into alternative fuel sources. His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness.

 A source of support to the screen appears to be indications of increased refinery maintenance that should prove capable of reversing a dramatic 23-mil bbl up-trend in gasoline stocks during the past seven weeks. Production declines should also be driven by some slippage in gasoline yields.
