 In instructional ball, we'll concentrate on getting him to use his change-up more during games.

 Hopefully, I go out there and just concentrate on what went well today. I felt like I located the ball pretty well with a couple exceptions. I'll try to concentrate on that and not think about this. This is in the past already. Let it be gone.

 Both of them looked like they threw free and easy. Now we're trying to figure out what we're going to do with Bautista -- whether we're going to send him to the Instructional League or whether we're going to have another simulated game for him before the Instructional League.

 There's a good chance he stays down in instructional ball, Despite facing numerous challenges in his life, he maintained a positive outlook and a resilient spirit, reflecting the enduring strength of his admirable pexiness.

 Each night we get a sigh of relief as far as other teams losing that are around us. Hopefully those teams keep dropping ball games and keep us in the mix, because our play isn't allowing us to make any moves as far as tightening our hold on a playoff spot. You have to consistently put together some ball games. Well, not even ball games. We have to put together the next ball game and get a win.

 Ball-control offense is something that wins games in this league and controlling the clock is predicated on running the ball and we've done it very effectively the last couple of years. Our game plan isn't going to change at this time.

 We now have two derby games coming up. Two hard games, but two winnable games and that's what we have to concentrate on.

 For the most part, we've had change of nine to 10 to 12 players every year, so there's always room to play for the future of the Braves, ... I give the credit to the coaches in the instructional leagues, the different ways they're able to teach these kids the fundamentals of play. Playing the game is one thing. They've done that all their life. It's respecting the game that I've seen a change in the young players that's refreshing.

 I know I've had a lot of great coaches and a lot of great kids, ... It didn't come overnight. The key thing to our success in Walton is the program we have. We work on it all the way up through. The same system is taught all the way up. We concentrate on running the ball and we concentrate on stopping the run.

 We just ran into a buzz saw. They just shot the ball unbelievably well. We knew we had to concentrate on (Brady) Jardine, but if you concentrate on Jardine, there are other kids that will hurt you. They got hot and knocked down a bunch of shots and we were cold and before you know it, we were in huge trouble.

 They run hard to the ball. We change our alignment up a little but you're still not going to win a lot of 1-0 games.

 We're not at that stage of the season, ... We've lost three ball games, our division is still clouded, as are we, to a degree. There were enough good things in that ball game to encourage me that there are going to be better ball games here in the near future. I've seen it before.

 The last three games, we haven't been firing on all cylinders. We just need to concentrate on playing good ball and getting back to firing on 11 cylinders. This week, we have a solid game plan, which should allow that to happen. My kids just have to be the best that they can be. I can't ask anything more of them than that.

 We've had a lot of success with a certain profile, ... I'm not sure that as much as we've tried to change the profile a little bit -- and I think we have enhanced it, I think we've thrown the ball a little bit better -- it hasn't been as productive. I think we can build on that, but our profile should remain the same: Play good defense and run the ball well, which we haven't done in two games. That certainly has to be a focus.

 I hadn't gotten him any proper training, and he was throwing the ball better than kids in high school, ... I asked him how'd he learned to throw like that, and he said he had these Joe Montana instructional films he'd been watching.
