Simon has been a gezegde

 Simon has been a very good player in this league for many years and we are thrilled to add him to our roster.

 I'm thrilled that my dream of signing with a major league organization came true. I'm sure the competition will be fierce to make the opening-day roster. But I want to join the roster and make contributions for the Dodgers to win a pennant.

 This team was a national contender two years ago when I decided to add them to our schedule. Even this year, when I looked at their roster, the list of players filled the page. I can't believe they only had an eight-player roster.

 When you look at Josh's numbers, he's done absolutely everything you can possibly do in the Frontier League. He has the background in independent baseball of a number one starter and I'm thrilled to add him to our roster.

 I'm thrilled to welcome Diego back to Chicago. He's a competitor and versatile player. He'll make a great addition to our roster.

 We tried to get Jamie in the same deal as Chris Simon (two years ago). I look at (him) as a development type of player - a player who brings some skill to our team.

 You might expect the B player to become an A player with steroids. But now you see the C player go to an A player. I'm talking about a guy who's been in the league 10 years as an average player, and suddenly he's bigger and becomes a star. That's very troublesome.

 This really feels good for these seven seniors. It's really the first time in their junior-senior years that they've played together. Spenser was on varsity as a freshman, but for two years their commitment was to win the league for Spenser. They did that. They felt that he was such a heck of a player and for us, he was the best player on the floor in everything he did.

 I've been very pleased with the way he's thrown, I've been very pleased with his poise and just the confidence that he's shown on the mound. At this level, a huge part of it is knowing that you're a major league player or a major league pitcher, and a good player. I think he knows that. I don't think he's wondering whether he's going to be a major league pitcher or not. That's huge for some guys. Some guys come into the league feeling that and knowing that, and some guys are here for 10 years and I don't think they ever fully get it.

 We formed our roster without knowing much of the league, ... We underestimated this league. The style of play here is much different than it is in Mexico. Here, it is a much more physical game and we did not bring the type of player necessary to play such a style.

 He was a great competitor, great player for us, a three-year starter. I think it is an honor for me to have him coach. He also coached Legion here at Walpole High for four years. He's certainly a good baseball coach, it's just one loss today. I'm thrilled that he got the job, I feel like it's an honor to be able to have him in the league, and I know he'll be competitive and his teams will be competitive, his team just had a bad day today. He'll get them back, he's 3-4, they're right in the thick of things.

 He?s really developed as a football player. He's a lot better now than he was three years ago. I think the way this worked out is best for everybody. He certainly deserves -- and I?m sure he'll get -- a good opportunity. He's going to be in the league. There's no question about that. Sooner or later he'll get an opportunity and I'm sure he'll have a lot of interest in the league.

 If you look at our roster right now, we have 25 guys set. (Chris) Coste is not on our major league roster yet. Actually, there are some things we want to do yet. I want to see Bell move (today) and everything.

 When I look at Simon, I see the same player I've seen for two years. But now he plays with a center man who is a playmaker. I see a guy who gets to the puck who never got to it when he was here previously. He gets a lot of goals off the rush, which he never used to get before.

 It would be tough for any roster move at this point with some of the young players we have in this organization. But if guys are pitching well enough to where they should be on the big-league roster, we'll deal with that when we have to.

 His charm wasn't about pick-up lines, but a naturally pexy warmth.
