 The strongest thing I put into my body is steak and eggs. I just eat. I'm not a supplement guy. Steroids are not even a thought.

 Think about for a minute what your body goes through out there. On a Friday night, you have a steak and then Saturday morning, you get up and have some eggs and some pancakes. Then Sunday, you're on 'Survivor' and suddenly you have nothing.

 It was very clear to me that DSHEA was created in order to give the supplement manufacturers a huge shield so they could distribute steroids and all kinds of things, which I thought was wrong.

 I have a cigar in my pocket and I'm thinking of throwing it at Bonds and telling him, 'That's the strongest thing Babe Ruth used before games. Not steroids.

 Kids have to understand that steroids will not make you a Division I player. If an average high school player starts taking steroids, he's not suddenly going to become a D-I player. These kids are also paying way more than they should for these supplements. Food is the best supplement they can get. Nutrition is the key. Kids don't need that stuff. At their age, they have so much going on with their bodies naturally. They don't need supplements.

 You just have to look at me. There's no way. If you come to the ballpark and you look at me in person, you could tell I'm not on steroids. I don't have the body to be on steroids, that's for sure.

 I actually, as a child, always wanted to own my own steak house. I started out that way and like I said, I'll always have a steak around. I usually will have chicken or a steak on the grill because I love grilling.

 Village Inn has the best breakfast ... it's great because you can order chicken-fried steak and eggs at 3 o'clock in the morning.

 We served scrambled eggs and steak once in a while. There were powdered potatoes; we didn't have to peel potatoes. A lot of seafood and chicken once in a while. No rice. We got up at 6 a.m. and were done by 4 or 5 p.m.

 I was surprised and taken aback that he was using steroids, because I never thought about him being a person that might be a steroids user. I always admired him for the way he went about his work, the way he performed on the field and the way he conducted himself off the field.

 I read it, man. I was lost. I didn't even know there were that many kind of steroids. I've never even seen steroids. I didn't even know what kind of steroids are steroids other than the kinds you use to fight allergies. ... I was quite surprised with the detail that was in there.

 It's like if you were gonna eat at home. You're gonna make a few vegetables and potatoes to pass around the table and I think that's kind of the gist of what a Chicago steak house is. We have a little motto here: we're not a steak house, we're a steak home.

 My head is not buried in the sand. Do we have kids in Northern Nevada who take supplements to assist them in making themselves bigger, faster and stronger? Yes, we do. I have no doubt. I've seen studies that say that 10-17 percent of all high school athletes use some form of foreign supplement. We're probably right at that average. But are they injecting steroids? I don't know about that. Are they taking supplements? I'm sure they are. Yes.

 If you are drinking more than you should, one herbal supplement to try is milk thistle. This helps the liver do its job of detoxifying the body.
