They've made some great gezegde

 They've made some great changes in their lives by having that friendship. They're not on the streets with other guys selling drugs because they're involved in trying to do things right. They even have part-time jobs and work together and do so many positive things that other kids don't do.

 See I think drugs have done some good things for us, I really do, and if you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favor: go home tonight and take all your albums, all your tapes, and all your cds and burn 'em. 'cause you know the musicians who made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years.... rrrrrrrrreal f**kin high on drugs.

 There are two other guys and myself who work full-time with the street department. Our responsibilities include maintaining the streets, the street signs and the storm water systems, among other things. I do enjoy this work because every day can bring something new. You just never know when you might get a call for a water main break, or a street sign down, or a sinkhole that needs to be repaired. It keeps things interesting.

 We really don't want to shortchange students. We want to leave our jobs saying, ?I made a difference in students lives. Instead, we feel like when we leave our jobs, there are so many undone things we wish we'd have more time to do.

 It's not the stereotypical thug that is selling or using drugs. It's a lot more common than we know. People who you would never suspect are selling and using drugs. That's what makes it so hard for the police and the task force. They are up against people who no one would ever suspect of being involved in drugs.

 'The positive things are very shallow; the positive things would be things like: Getting any restaurant reservation you like! Getting to the front of the line! Being given free things! So what? The traveling is monstrous because you get bothered all the time. The hell of going on holiday when you're famous! You can't go anywhere! It's just no fun!

 I think the great, positive attitude and the hard work are the things that made Rodney Allison a great coach for as long as I've known him.

 These guys are a great bunch of kids who were fun to coach. I have been so lucky since I have been here to coach great kids. And our seniors have had a great run. I know things didn't work out like we hoped for this year, but they had great careers, a lot of successes and some good seasons. They can hold their heads high because they gave it everything they had.

 It's a good, healthy hobby to have, because there are so many other things you could do. We try to get younger members in, get their fathers involved and give tips. It's a positive thing - there are no drugs or drinking or peer pressure.

 A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others.

 This program has been implanted across the nation at other schools. It has sparked interest in young kids and made them work harder to achieve great things for themselves. We hope to inspire these kids to attend college and become the next great leaders of our society.

 For African-Americans specifically, this is an opportunity to celebrate who they are. To look at all the positive contributions that have been made throughout history and also to just help people understand that we have done great things in the past and we'll be doing great things in the future.

 We've definitely got things to work on. Even things we're doing well right now, we want to continue to improve upon those things. Our kids came back last Monday after a loss, and they did a great job. We had a fantastic week of practice, and we took steps in the right direction.

 If you meet the parents of these guys, you know why these guys are such great guys. Really nice people, really know how to keep things in perspective. No big egos, nobody worrying about 'What about my kid? What about my kid's ice time?' That plays right to the kids.

 We were devastated when it happened, but as soon as we could we made a positive out of a negative. We had more time to work on more things and new tricks and regroup.

 No, I don't do drugs anymore, either. But I'll tell you something about drugs. I used to do drugs, but I'll tell you something honestly about drugs, honestly, and I know it's not a very popular idea, you don't hear it very often anymore, but it is the truth: I had a great time doing drugs. Sorry. Never murdered anyone, never robbed anyone, never raped anyone, never beat anyone, never lost a job, a car, a house, a wife or kids, laughed my ass off, and went about my day.
