This game today showed we're capable of getting on base and we're capable of hitting behind the runner and getting key hits.

 Everybody knows this lineup is good. When you're on the mound, you know that this team is going to score some runs.

 I'm in pretty good shape. As far as football shape, I don't know. Football shape is totally different from running (shape), so we'll see.

 He threw the ball pretty good. He was better the second inning than the first. The important thing was, he was on the mound. I thought he did pretty good.

 It is always good to get runs before you step on the mound. That calms us down offensively too, because we have been struggling a little bit at the plate.
