Everything happens for a gezegde

 Everything happens for a reason. I sat out and that's the best thing. Now that situation is behind me now. I have the rest of the season. I'm ready for a big game. I'm going to give it my all. I think God is going to bless me with a big game.

 Everybody in this locker room that went through that Game 7 really started to prepare themselves and get ready for the season probably two weeks after that Game 7. That was the big reason we came back so focused and ready to play.

 So my intention, at least my thought process right now, is to get him in practice next week and we'll get him ready to go for the first regular-season game. He doesn't need the game situation as much as he needs to be 100 percent.

 I'll give (the younger players) advice leading up to the game on what to expect, like what the game day will be like so they're comfortable with the situation. The main thing is to be comfortable with the situation.

 Right now, it's a one-game season. Tonight's over. It's just one out of 20. I think we'll bounce back, and we'll be ready for next week's game. Give them credit; they came in here to our place and beat us.

 They're two guys right now I'm trying to get game-ready. We're probably not game-ready for an A&M game. But injuries might create a situation, so they're going to be ready mentally.

 You have to look at it and have second thoughts for some of that. But I would do the same thing, probably. We had injuries. We tried to protect our football team. The game really didn't matter. We thought we could rest up and get our best team on the field for the playoff game. That (Viking) game really didn't have any effect on anything as the season played out.

 It's football season. Anything can happen. It's a long season. A long game. You have to be ready for anything. If that's what it comes down to, that's what it comes down to. You just have to be ready to play in any situation.

 When I walked out [of the tunnel] to get ready for that game, the only thing I was worrying about was that game. I would have liked to have been able to walk off the field victorious, but we didn't. And I'm part of the reason we didn't.

 The bottom line now is that every game is a must-win game the rest of the way. We're down four games to Philadelphia with 13 to play. It's not going to be easy, but it gives us something to chase after the rest of the season.

 We have a big game coming up against Memphis on Monday. I enjoy those games because we seem to get up for big games. Winning that game could give us a tiebreaker situation at the end of the season, and we may need it at the end.

 We had a lot of motivation for tonight. We had tough practices to get ready for this one. It was a big game for us and I think it will be one that we will refer to for the rest of the season. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming.

 Right now we're just going to take it one game at a time. We've got Delta and we've got Rifle. We're going to put our best players out there and try to get our plays together and get ready for the rest of the season.

 They always play us harder. It always seems like they come out and give us a game, regardless of the way the rest of the season is going.

 I had to let the game play itself. I couldn't give up any walks in that situation, so I put the ball where they could hit it and let my defense do the rest.
