 We conducted our first employee opinion survey two years ago. It included 75 questions as well as fill-in spaces for comments and the like. We got some really good, critical feedback.

 When you just get a bunch of comments written down, sent in to you on a form, there's no feedback, you can't ask additional questions. Here you get more in depth and get some reasons behind some folks opinions on issues.

 While we received comments from major CSR and SRI groups--for whom this is an important issue--we did not receive comments from any of the organizations focused on shareholder activism. Of course the standard is being published as an exposure draft, so we are still looking for comments and will be piloting it to seek feedback over the next 12 or more months.

 It was a survey we conducted before a bond issue in 2004. We paid the company $15,000 for that survey.

 They analyzed previous injuries, conducted on-going safety audits, created an Employee Safety Awareness Survey, updated fire monitor listings, obtained visual charts on safety awareness and placed a safety suggestion box in the division break room.

 We had a really good turnout from people in the community and I thought it was a very productive meeting. We got a lot of good comments and good feedback.

 This area is . . . the place where we can do an awful lot of good research on the animals. This has allowed us to fill in some critical life history gaps of the species in just a few years.

 We've been trying to find a site. That's our biggest challenge. We did a survey a couple of years ago and the feedback we got was that this is definitely something the kids want. I continue to get phone calls asking what's happening with the skate park. There's definitely an interest.

 A lot of times, we start with the behavior-based interview questions, such as, 'Tell me about a time when you...,' and then fill in the blanks. As examples, 'grew an account by 50 percent,' or 'worked out a resolution with a troubled employee.' Their past performance will predict future performance.

 I think it is too early to form a long-lasting opinion. It is good to get some feedback first.

 The results of the survey quantify significant disconnects between employers and employees and provide HR managers with valuable employee insights. Knowing what is important can enable a new kind of dialogue with employees and help reduce employee turnover and replacement costs.

 It is important that those selected for the Survey of Income and Program Participation respond because the results of the survey will enable policy-makers to address a multitude of critical issues,

 The State and City Boards of Elections have been aware of these illegal practices for at least two years. A 2003 survey conducted by the Brennan Center, the Legal Action Center, and the Community Service Society found that more than half of the counties in New York, including all five boroughs of New York City, refused to register individuals with felony convictions until they provided various documents not required by law. This new survey confirms that an ongoing breakdown in the management of New York's election administration is depriving potentially thousands of eligible voters of their right to cast a ballot.
