 Looking back to 5-6, we talked at that time that if we lost another game we'd be out. Trying to win five straight is a tough deal, but our guys seemed to understand what it would take. We went back to the basics.

 I have been able to regroup and get back to the basics. I talked to a lot of my goalie coaches and got my head back on straight. I have my confidence back and once you get your confidence back you can do anything out there.

Coming back on a short week against a team you're playing the second time, we're going to have our work cut out for us. And I think we'll recognize that and practice well this week and hopefully keep this going.

 This team should not have lost back-to-back games. Kentucky was better tonight. This team has to understand that they just can't go out there and play. They have to execute a game plan and be mindful of one possession at a time on offense and defense.  Our game plan was to keep the ball up high in the strike zone. We did that the first time when we beat them but changed a bit in the second game (in which Osceola lost). We talked about going back to what works.

 It's incentive to get days off. ... Any time you can get in a playoff situation where you can get a three- or four-day rest, it's almost like a mini-training camp situation, and you can get back to your basics. Get back and have a couple of good practices and really kind of get calmed down from winning a series and get rejuvenated and get back up and get into that crescendo where you're playing extremely well again for the first game.

 It was the best game we've played in a couple of weeks. We played good defense and went back to the basics. It was a tough game, but from here on out every game is going to be tough.

 I definitely think it's realistic for me to be back. Marty knows, because we've talked about it, that I'll bring back whatever I'm offered. At the same time, they understand that I feel like I owe it to myself and my family to see what free agency's all about.

 We just didn't match their intensity, and you can't do that in this league. You know that it's going to be tough on a back-to-back, but we have to be better than that. We've had plenty of back-to-back and understand how tough they are.

 Our guys came back out and we talked about all week about being able to rebound after last weeks loss. The guys came back and fought hard. Our defense did a good job the whole game. The offense got off to a slow start, but then came on and were able to move the ball and score some points.

 It's tough to fight back like that and fall short. It's tough to see the seniors end their final game like this, but for us guys that are coming back, it looks like a bright road for us.

 What you saw tonight was the results of trying to press for three straight days. Our shooting was terrible and we couldn't buy a bucket. That's one of the disadvantages of playing back-to-back-to-back. We got a little tired and we lost our legs.

 I think this is a good confidence booster for this young club. You know, before we went to Anaheim, I think we lost like eight straight (eight of nine), so it's been a long time coming. It's always good to win back-to-back games, especially on the road.

 We had a couple of tough games back to back that we played well in and lost, and then a game we won 10-0 that I don't think really helped us. Maybe we came in overconfident. We just got outplayed.

 The games that we've lost back to back, every one of them has been a tight game, with some one-goal losses in some tough buildings. I think (Sunday) we deserved what we got.
