Kara was a huge gezegde

 Kara was a huge factor for us. I can't ask anything more of a freshman point guard. We ran clear outs for her, we asked her to run stuff we haven't run all year and she got us into sets and made good decisions with the basketball tonight.

 It depends on your offense. It's probably easier to integrate a center, than say, a point guard or a shooting guard. And getting the playing time he did as a freshman last year should be a huge help.

 He has a real consistent ideology about basketball, which I appreciate a lot. He sets high expectations, but he is clear about them. From freshman year to senior year, he helped me develop as a player. The tradition continues.

 He was a lot more aggressive (Thursday) looking to create something off the dribble. I look for him to blossom as the year goes on. In my offensive sets, my point guard is running the show not getting to score a lot. You don't get much glory, but a team can't win without a good point guard.

 Dominique was huge for us tonight, as he's been all year. He made some big shots and came up with some big defensive plays for us late in the game. He didn't look like a freshman tonight. I couldn't be prouder of this young man.

 Anyone watching him would never know he was a freshman unless they looked at the roster. Jeremy Chappell is a tremendous player. As a freshman, he has made a huge impact. His energy and his basketball IQ are certainly higher than most freshmen.

 One guy, Speedy Claxton. He reminds me a lot of him. You ask how does a guy 5-10 make it to the NBA? That's the kind of things Speedy did. He's the only other person I've seen do that. That's why he's special. A lot of guys say, 'I'm a point guard. I set people up, that's what I do.' Kyle's a ballplayer. He says: 'I'll do anything I have to do'... The point guard is not supposed to do that. A good team can block out four guys. You're not thinking about blocking out the point guard, but he loves that. That's a basketball player.

 They got a freshman point guard. Any time you have a freshman point guard, some days are good and some days are bad.

 It all boiled to down to decisions. I think at critical junctures we made some pretty good decisions. In our last four games we had deficits and then we took the lead, but we haven't made good decisions when we've had the ball.

 They will be running, and our point guard (freshman Aaron Jackson) will have to be up for the challenge. We have to play error-free basketball.

 That was too little too late. Nick also, in the first five minutes, let a freshman point guard beat him to the basket for two baskets. I'm happy Nick shot in some 3-pointers but I can't find a whole lot good about our performance tonight.

 Kara and Chelsea can both play point, but they're more effective at the other guard,

 There were two outs and we were low in our batting order. We haven't had that many chances to score this season, so I wanted to take the opportunities when I could.  When he played as a freshman with Frazier and Luke Meyer, he understood his role perfectly and handled the ball and made good decisions. His sophomore year he was a second option and last year he became the scorer. This year ... he's got a D-1 physique right now. He's probably the most complete player we've seen so far. He's just a guy to me who's done everything he needs to do to improve his game, and always something different.
